IU shared, “The big reason we’re here today is 'When Life Gives You Tangerines'. We have to talk about the drama we starred in together! How far have you watched?”

She then revealed, “I watched up to episode 13 last night and cried so much. When I woke up this morning, my eyes were swollen. The story now focuses on the older Ae Soon and Gwan Shik, and there were scenes I hadn’t seen before. They made me cry so much.”

Park Bo Gum, who watched up to episode 12, praised the drama, saying, “You did so well, and the senior actors really brought everything together. Every single character feels so alive, and I’m just grateful and in awe of that.”

IU added, “We still appear frequently, right? The way our drama unfolds is quite unique. If anyone feels it’s a bit lacking, don’t worry—keep watching. We’ll continue to show up.”

Meanwhile, When Life Gives You Tangerines tells the life story of Ae Soon, a fearless rebel born in Jeju, and Gwan Shik, a devoted iron-willed man, as they navigate their adventurous lives across the four seasons.

On April 15, the VIP premiere of the film Yadang took place at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, and it quickly turned into a Poksak reunion.

The event was already buzzing with big names like Uhm Tae Woong (who made his first appearance in 8 years), Lee Min Ho, Ha Ji Won, Lee Joo Young, Hyeri, Lee Yu Bi, Kim Sung Kyun, and even Single’s Inferno 4's Lee Si An.

IU, who played Gwansik’s daughter Geum Myeong in the Netflix series, was spotted quietly entering the theater wearing a mask. A fan who noticed her shared a photo, writing, “Poksak daughter Geum Myeong is here!”

Kim Seon Ho also showed up and quickly got attention. Fans recognized him despite the mask and commented, “Chung Seop is here too!” and “Park Hae Joon’s son-in-law came!” Kim Seon Ho made a special appearance in the series as Geum Myeong’s husband.
