On March 20, a new episode of Mini Excuse-Go was uploaded on the ‘DdeunDdeun’ YouTube channel, featuring Haewon, Sullyoon, and Bae from NMIXX.
During the episode, Haewon talked about how busy she’s been, saying, “I’m from Incheon, but I only get to see my parents about two or three times a year during the holidays. It’s really sad because every time I see them, I realize how much time has passed.”
Bae agreed and added, “Since we don’t see them often, the passage of time feels even more significant.”

While discussing her school days, Haewon revealed, “I mostly went to math, science, and English academies, as well as a reading and debate writing academy. My older sister was a great student, but I was a bit of an odd one out.”
Then, she brought up some things she saw online about herself, saying, “I saw on Namuwiki that it says I ‘prepared for a foreign language high school,’ but honestly, anyone can say they prepared. Doesn’t everyone aim for Seoul National University at some point?” showing her down-to-earth personality.
She then talked about the rumors about her father, revealing, “Namuwiki’s entry about me wasn’t bad, so I didn’t bother correcting anything. But when I debuted, there were rumors that my father was a judge. That’s not true. He does work at the court, but he’s not a judge.”
Haewon continued, “I thought about clarifying it, but I wondered, ‘Do I really need to?’ It didn’t seem like people were leaving hate comments, and I actually found it amusing. Now that it’s been over three years, I’m finally addressing it here on Excuse-Go. Unfortunately, the rumor wasn’t true.”
Meanwhile, NMIXX made their comeback on March 17 with their fourth mini album, Fe3O4: FORWARD, and the title track KNOW ABOUT ME!
