The controversy surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron is heating up, as Kim Sae Ron’s family has now released a video that allegedly shows the two spending time together at her home.

On March 18, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon) posted a video titled "Kim Soo Hyun, Home Date Video with Kim Sae Ron Released." This came after Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, denied that the actor had ever visited her home.

The footage reportedly shows Kim Sae Ron and a man, believed to be Kim Soo Hyun, casually chatting in her home. In the video, the man is seen rubbing Kim Sae Ron’s back while she uses a massager. He asks, "Aren’t you putting too much pressure?" to which Kim Sae Ron responds, "This is amazing. Have you tried it? If you put this on your stomach, you’d die." At another moment, when the man is recording her, she smiles and says, "Are you filming me? Still?"

Following the release, Gaseyeon sent a warning to Kim Soo Hyun, saying, "Please release a statement tomorrow. If you deny it, we have another video where your face is visible. We hope you make a statement. We’ll be waiting."

They also shared a screenshot of text messages allegedly exchanged between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun back in August 2018, when Kim Sae Ron was still in high school. In the messages, Kim Sae Ron texts a contact named "Kim Soo Hyun88," saying, "So you’re just deleting our chats like this???" and the next day follows up with, "Pick up, this is a call."

Gaseyeon added, "Kim Sae Ron reportedly told her family that Kim Soo Hyun suggested they use Telegram for conversations. Why would someone insist on using Telegram? That’s suspicious." They also pointed out, "Judging from these messages, they weren’t just acquaintances. Who texts someone like this at 9 or 10 PM?"

Meanwhile, earlier that day, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency once again denied all allegations, including claims about a ₩700 million debt and an underage relationship.

Gold Medalist clarified, "We never demanded compensation from Kim Sae Ron for any reason. We worked together to settle the damages caused by her drunk driving incident and helped reduce her remaining debt to about ₩700 million. However, when she could no longer afford to pay, we internally handled the loss compensation. The official audit report confirms that the debt was written off as of December 31, 2023."

They also addressed the recently circulated elevator photo, allegedly showing Kim Soo Hyun in front of Kim Sae Ron’s home. The agency firmly stated, "The person in the photo is not Kim Soo Hyun. This is a blurry image with an unclear face, and we see no reason to respond to baseless rumors."

They concluded, "Kim Soo Hyun has never been to the place Gaseyeon is claiming as 'the elevator' in the video. The only ones who have been there are Gaseyeon, not Kim Soo Hyun."
