• Han So Hee opens up about her struggles after controversy: “I’m learning how to be honest with responsibility”

Han So Hee has finally shared her thoughts after a tough time.

On March 18, Harper’s Bazaar Korea revealed its April 2025 issue featuring Han So Hee as the cover star.

The photoshoot, themed "21st Century Goddess," captures Han So Hee’s elegance in stunning black and neutral-toned dresses.

One cover gives off a Renaissance painting vibe, while another highlights her sharp proportions in a sleek black dress with bold makeup.

The close-up cover, showcasing her legendary visuals, has fans in awe once again.

In the interview, Han So Hee was asked about her definition of beauty. She shared, "I’ve recently realized that beauty isn’t just about looks. You know how people say, ‘A beautiful heart matters’? I think it’s about mindset. Lately, I’ve been focusing more on my health. Instead of saying, ‘I’m too exhausted,’ I now think, ‘I should at least take some vitamins and rest.’ If I have no energy on set, it affects others. So, I’m working on making sure my struggles don’t burden people—that’s my new standard of beauty."

She also talked about her upcoming film Project Y and why she chose the role. "When I first picked this film, I thought, ‘This is something I can only do at this stage of my life.’ If I were five years younger or five years older, it wouldn’t feel the same. It has a mix of youthful confidence and just the right amount of maturity. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime project."

Han So Hee also mentioned co-star Jeon Jong Seo, saying, "We’re really close now, but in the beginning, I did wonder how we’d build chemistry. Still, I was confident that we’d make a great match and create amazing synergy. I really want to prove that through this film."

When asked about what’s been on her mind lately, Han So Hee gave an honest answer: "I think I’m just a very honest person—no matter how much I think about it, that’s who I am. But I also believe honesty comes with responsibility. There are fans, friends, and people who listen to what I say, so I’m trying to learn how to be honest in a way that carries responsibility."

Her words have many wondering if she’s reflecting on the recent controversy that shook her career.

Meanwhile, Project Y is a noir film set in Gangnam, Seoul, following two childhood friends who try to steal 8 billion KRW worth of gold bars in one final attempt to escape their current lives. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Han So Hee’s transformation in the film.
