• SEVENTEEN’s agency takes strong legal action after private details leaked—airline employee caught selling flight info

PLEDIS Entertainment is cracking down on those leaking confidential information about SEVENTEEN and violating the members' privacy.

On March 17, the agency released an official statement revealing that they have filed a criminal complaint against individuals responsible for spreading sensitive details about the group.

“To protect SEVENTEEN’s rights, we have been continuously collecting evidence of malicious posts and comments through fan reports and internal monitoring,” PLEDIS stated.

They added, “Based on this, we have been taking legal action against defamation, insults, and personal attacks. Additionally, we are treating the ongoing leaks of confidential artist-related information as a serious matter and have begun legal proceedings.”

The agency revealed that since early 2023, there have been multiple cases where sensitive details about SEVENTEEN’s unreleased albums, performances, and activities were leaked through anonymous online platforms.

“Despite our best efforts to maintain secrecy, the scale of these leaks has become unacceptable,” PLEDIS emphasized.

To address this, PLEDIS has already taken action. “We have begun collecting evidence for legal measures, including a criminal complaint. In the second half of last year, we hired a law firm to proceed with the case, and law enforcement investigations are currently underway."

They added, "While we cannot disclose further details to avoid interfering with the investigation, we can confirm that a suspect is under investigation.”

The agency also addressed growing concerns about privacy violations and threats to the members' safety.

They stated, “We are taking strict action against individuals who violate our artists’ privacy and put them at risk. Recently, an airline employee was booked on criminal charges for illegally selling SEVENTEEN’s flight information."

They added, "Additionally, we have filed legal complaints under the Anti-Stalking Act against those engaging in activities that infringe on the members’ privacy.”

PLEDIS ended its statement by assuring that they will continue to protect SEVENTEEN’s rights and take strong action against any illegal activities targeting the group.

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
