• Kim Sae Ron’s paintings from 'Queen of Tears' finale day spark theories—Do they reveal her hidden feelings about Kim Soo Hyun?

Following shocking claims that Kim Soo Hyun had been in a relationship with Kim Sae Ron since she was a minor, an old painting shared by the late actress on the finale day of Queen of Tears is now getting attention.

On April 28, 2023, Kim Sae Ron uploaded several images of her completed paintings on her personal social media. At the time, this post drew a lot of interest as it was her first public update after her canceled theater comeback.

Recently, Kim Sae Ron’s family claimed that she had posted a photo of Kim Soo Hyun after receiving a 7-billion KRW (approx. 5.2 million USD) payment demand and being unable to contact him. This happened right after his kiss scene with Kim Ji Won aired in Queen of Tears.

However, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency denied these allegations, stating, "Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated for about a year after she became an adult. Regarding her contract penalty fees, our company paid them and recorded them as a loss."

Despite this, Kim Sae Ron’s family insists that the two had been together since 2015, when she was still a minor. Adding to the public’s shock, many have also pointed out that Kim Sae Ron passed away on February 16, which happens to be Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday.

Now, netizens are revisiting her paintings, particularly the ones she posted on April 28, 2023, the same day the final episode of Queen of Tears aired. Many are speculating about the meaning behind her dark-themed artworks featuring sunflowers.

Among the paintings, one shows a figure holding a torn sunflower in the rain, looking sorrowful, while another depicts a sunflower piercing through a person’s neck. With recent controversies surrounding Kim Soo Hyun, these symbolic images are being interpreted in a new light.

As discussions continue, people are wondering if these paintings held a hidden message about her struggles at the time.

  • Yoo Seung Ho shows off rugged beard on TV and fans are loving this new mature vibe

On the latest episode of JTBC’s Battle! Paeng Bong Paeng Bong aired on April 19, actor Yoo Seung Ho showed up with a whole new vibe — a calm face, casual look, and a soft-growing beard that had everyone talking!

Appearing as a part-time helper for a fun cooking battle between married couple Paeng Hyun Sook and Lee Bong Won, Yoo Seung Ho teamed up with Kwak Dong Yeon to assist the two teams.

The pair helped with kitchen duties while also showing off their own cooking skills. Yoo Seung Ho whipped up spicy sea snail noodles (golbaengi somyeon), while Kwak Dong Yeon made his signature gochujang stew. The cast split up based on cooking abilities — Kwak Dong Yeon joined Park Mi Sun and Lee Bong Won, while Yoo Seung Ho sided with Paeng Hyun Sook and Choi Yang Rak.

Everyone was stunned when they learned Yoo Seung Ho is already 32 years old, saying he still looks like a baby-faced star! Park Mi Sun even pointed out that Kwak Dong Yeon is the same age as her son.

Later in the episode, Park Mi Sun stepped down from filming for health reasons, and comedian Lee Eun Ji came in as her replacement. She joked about being one year older than Yoo Seung Ho, and playfully made sure he knew it right away.

Because of long filming hours and travel, Yoo Seung Ho had grown a bit of facial hair. Kwak Dong Yeon teased him saying, “What are we gonna do about hyung’s beard?” But Lee Eun Ji was loving the new look! She said he reminded her of So Ji Sub from the hit drama I’m Sorry, I Love You. The production staff even added a hilarious caption: “Want to sell rice soup with me or die?” — referencing So Ji Sub’s legendary drama line.

Fans couldn’t get enough of Yoo Seung Ho’s chill new look, and many are already calling for a rugged drama comeback.
