• Park Bo Gum’s MC Comeback After 10 Years Starts With a Mistake: "Please Edit It Out, I’m Sorry" — Here's Why

Park Bo Gum made a cute but unexpected mistake as an MC for the first time in 10 years, and fans can’t stop laughing at his reaction!

On the March 14 episode of KBS 2TV’s The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile, the actor returned to the stage as a host, welcoming No Young Shim, Sunwoo Jung A, Jung Joon Il, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi, and actors Kim Yoo Jung, Jinyoung, and Kwak Dong Yeon as special guests.

As the first-ever actor MC in The Seasons series, Park Bo Gum kicked off the show with a heartfelt performance of MeloMance’s Would You Like to Take a Break? and reflected on his journey, saying:

“It’s been 10 years since I was the MC for Music Bank in 2015. Now, in 2025, as I enter my 30s, I feel emotional about greeting everyone as an MC again.”

However, things took an unexpectedly funny turn when he tried to perform No Matter How Much I Think, I Only Think of You, the OST from the drama Alone in Love.

“I wanted this to be a surprise performance…”

But as soon as he started singing, he realized he picked a key that was way too high—causing him to stop mid-song while the audience burst into laughter!

With No Young Shim helping him find the right key, Park Bo Gum laughed awkwardly and restarted, saying:

    “Mistakes are not allowed!”

But that wasn’t the only blunder of the night!

While flipping through his cue cards, he tried to share a quote from No Young Shim:

“The director once said that playing the piano and creating music is like planting seeds of love and a warm spring breeze that nurtures a beautiful life.”

However, No Young Shim immediately shut it down by saying:

“I don’t remember saying that at all.”

This completely threw Park Bo Gum off, and he stuttered:

    “So… uh? What comes next…?”

To make things funnier, No Young Shim teased him back, saying:

“Maybe since I don’t remember, you forgot everything too.”

Realizing how awkward it was, Park Bo Gum gave up and laughed, saying:

“I guess so. Please edit this part out later. I’m sorry.”

The night continued with Kim Yoo Jung, Jinyoung, and Kwak Dong Yeon, his longtime friends from Love in the Moonlight. But even they couldn’t resist teasing him!

At one point, Kwak Dong Yeon peeked at Park Bo Gum’s cue cards and joked:

“I’m really sorry, but… I can see your cue cards. Why did you color them so much? Were you analyzing and studying them?”

And just when Park Bo Gum tried to change the subject to their recent activities, Kwak Dong Yeon called him out again!

“That’s not what we were talking about! We were discussing You Have Done Well! Are you just reading from the prompter like a fool?”

The audience couldn’t stop laughing at their playful banter, making Park Bo Gum’s first MC night in a decade a memorable (and hilarious) one!

  • Park Bo Gum’s Genuine Personality Shines Again, Even IU Admits It Makes Her Frustrated — Here's Why

Actor Park Bo Gum’s sincerity and kindness once again became a hot topic—this time, even IU admitted his personality makes her feel “frustrated” in the best way possible!

On March 14, KBS2’s The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile aired its first episode, marking Park Bo Gum’s long-awaited return as an MC.

Since it was the show’s premiere, Park Bo Gum went all out—showcasing his talents by singing, dancing, and sharing special moments with his guests.

The episode featured a surprise visit from his long-time friends Kwak Dong Yeon, Kim Yoo Jung, and Jinyoung, who co-starred with him in Love in the Moonlight.

The three actors introduced themselves in a hilarious yet heartwarming way:
Kim Yoo Jung: “I’m the vestibular system that keeps Bo Gum oppa balanced when he feels dizzy.”
Jinyoung: “I’m the lungs that help Bo Gum hyung breathe through everything.”
Kwak Dong Yeon: “I’m the strong pillar—his supportive back muscles.”

Kim Yoo Jung jokingly predicted, “I think Bo Gum oppa is going to cry every week on this show.”

Kwak Dong Yeon added, “He cried so much during rehearsal that the wooden floor absorbed all the moisture—we might have to replace it.” ?

Park Bo Gum explained, “Seeing my dear friends take time out of their crazy schedules to support me… I could feel their encouragement just by looking at them, and I suddenly teared up.”

Jinyoung then revealed, “I actually had a script reading today, so I originally couldn’t come. But when the schedule got pushed back, I immediately called Bo Gum to say I’d be there.”

To return the love, the three actors secretly prepared a special surprise performance for Park Bo Gum. They sang a heartfelt song just for him, making the audience cheer.

Kwak Dong Yeon confessed, “We didn’t even practice it out loud during rehearsals because we wanted to keep it a surprise.”

Later in the show, former The Seasons MC Lee Young Ji was spotted in the audience, cheering loudly for Park Bo Gum.

Not one to miss out on fun, she suddenly jumped onto the stage and convinced him to do aespa’s Supernova dance challenge.

With a quick crash course in dancing, Park Bo Gum nailed the moves, drawing huge reactions from the audience!

Meanwhile, IU recently praised Park Bo Gum on Salon Drip 2, saying:
“He’s both hardworking and kind. If you combine those two things, you get Park Bo Gum.”

She continued, “The source of all his kindness is his insane stamina. No matter how exhausted he is, he still manages to be considerate of others. It actually makes me mad! There was a really difficult scene once, and even when he was drained, he told the director, ‘I could’ve done better, I’m so sorry.’ Watching that made me think, ‘Why am I not that kind of person?’ and it frustrated me.”

Park Bo Gum’s heartwarming personality and dedication to his craft continue to inspire both colleagues and fans alike.
