• Late Kim Sae Ron’s Diary and Sponsored Hat Put Kim Soo Hyun in Hot Seat — Did He Really Date Her as a Minor?

Did Kim Soo Hyun really tell the truth about his relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron? A new leak suggests otherwise.

On March 14, YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (Gaseyeon) dropped a bombshell by revealing a KakaoTalk screenshot where Kim Sae Ron allegedly wrote, “Our relationship lasted from November 19, 2015, to July 7, 2021.” The channel explained, “Kim Sae Ron kept a diary, so she recorded the exact dates.”

Adding to the controversy, a newly surfaced photo shows Kim Soo Hyun wearing a “JDC” hat while posing closely with Kim Sae Ron, who was in a red hoodie.

Initially, Gaseyeon speculated that the picture was taken in Jeju due to the hat’s marking, but they later claimed, “After checking details, we confirmed it was actually taken in front of Kim Soo Hyun’s residence at Galleria Foret.”

Online users quickly dug deeper, pointing out that Kim Soo Hyun was often seen wearing that exact JDC hat between 2015 and 2017. Some even uploaded comparison photos from those years as proof.

One netizen, claiming to be an employee from the brand that produced the hat, added even more fuel to the fire, stating:

“That hat was part of the 2016 Spring/Summer collection. It was sent as a sponsorship in the winter of 2015. Kim Soo Hyun was seen wearing it in airport photos from December 2015. If he continued wearing it by choice, there should be sightings beyond 2016, but there aren’t any.”

They further claimed that in 2017, the brand provided a new black-lettered version, which Kim Soo Hyun also wore for only a short period.

Earlier that day, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, released an official statement:

“Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020, after Kim Sae Ron became an adult. The claim that they were in a relationship when she was a minor is false.”

The agency also addressed the military letter controversy, explaining that Kim Soo Hyun sent letters to many close acquaintances, and his phrase “I miss you” was meant casually.

Despite Kim Soo Hyun’s denial, netizens are now questioning his credibility as more evidence keeps surfacing.

Initially, the actor completely denied dating Kim Sae Ron, calling the rumors “groundless.” But after intimate photos, including a kissing picture, were exposed, he was forced to admit the relationship. Now, many are wondering—is he just trying to cover up the timeline?

With the latest claims involving Kim Sae Ron’s diary entries and the hat’s sponsorship history, more contradictions are emerging. If his denials continue to be debunked, he might end up labeled as “the boy who cried wolf.”

Meanwhile, Gaseyeon initially planned to reveal high-exposure photos of Kim Soo Hyun, including one where he was allegedly washing dishes at Kim Sae Ron’s house without pants. However, they announced just before their live broadcast:

“Kim Sae Ron’s mother expressed concerns about Kim Soo Hyun’s mental state after today’s statement. She worried that he might make an extreme decision.”

Due to the bereaved family’s request, Gaseyeon ultimately chose not to release the photos—for now.

  • EXID’s Hani Turns Heads with a Bold New Look While Responding to Lee Chan Won’s Fanboy Moment: “My Mom is a Huge Fan”

EXID’s Hani made a stunning appearance on Immortal Songs, and fans can’t stop talking about her bold transformation—and her hilarious exchange with Lee Chan Won!

The March 15 episode of KBS2’s Immortal Songs brought together legendary girl groups Baby V.O.X and EXID.

It was a nostalgic night filled with iconic performances, funny stories, and unexpected fan moments.

For the first time in 14 years, Baby V.O.X reunited in elegant white outfits, delivering a beautiful performance of Missing You. Their vocals and stage presence sent waves of nostalgia through the audience. Composer Kim Hyung Seok, who worked on many of their hits, proudly shared, “I was really lucky. I gave them songs like Get Up, Killer, Missing You, Ya Ya Ya, and Doll.”

Comedian Kim Joon Hyun took a trip down memory lane, recalling Baby V.O.X’s massive popularity, especially among soldiers:

“I was in the military back then, and they were love itself. They were the perfect group.”

Yuk Jung Wan also shared, “Back in my military days, Chakra and Baby V.O.X were the most popular. Idols had a pure image, but Baby V.O.X changed everything with their crop tops and sexy concept. Our entire barracks would shout out our favorite members’ names. They were the ultimate ‘military presidents’ (military favorites).”

EXID also made their long-awaited return as a full group after 10 years! Solji revealed that she was initially invited as a soloist but couldn’t resist bringing her members along:

“When I checked with them, they were all eager to join.”

LE hilariously exposed their struggles during rehearsals:

“At first, it wasn’t easy at all. Our memory has declined a bit, so we had to keep repeating the dance moves. And we kept getting sore.”

Hyelin added, “We’d practice once and then need a five-minute break.”

Then came one of the night’s funniest moments—Lee Chan Won, known for his love of trot music, revealed that EXID was his ultimate favorite group during his military service:

“There were two acts I adored the most—EXID and Kim Yeon Ja.”

He even confessed that he used to cut out EXID’s pictures from the Kookbang Ilbo (a military newspaper) and stick them on his locker!

After saying this, he immediately covered his face in embarrassment, making everyone laugh.

    Solji was surprised:

“I’ve been on Immortal Songs 12 times alone, but this is the first time I’ve heard that Chan Won is an EXID fan.”

Yuk Jung Wan playfully teased, “That means your favorite wasn’t her.”

Lee Chan Won quickly tried to recover:

“I liked all of you, but Solji was my top pick.”

Then, Hani unexpectedly jumped in with a witty remark:

“I really appreciate it because my mom is actually a huge fan of yours.”

Lee Chan Won was completely flustered, causing the whole studio to burst into laughter!

Aside from her fun banter, Hani also caught fans’ attention with her bold new look. Many were surprised by her transformation, praising her confidence and unique style.

Meanwhile, Hani was initially set to marry psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong last September.

However, the wedding was postponed after reports surfaced about an incident at the hospital where he works.

Despite the delay, Hani has remained focused on her career, and fans are eagerly waiting for updates on both her personal and professional life.
