• Netizens Claim Won Bin Tried to Pay Late Kim Sae Ron’s 700 Million Won Debt – Here's What Really Happened

As the controversy surrounding the late Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun continues, a shocking claim has surfaced—actor Won Bin allegedly tried to repay Kim Sae Ron’s 700 million KRW debt. This revelation, along with a past message from Kim Sae Ron expressing her deep gratitude for Won Bin, is now gaining attention.

On March 11, Kim Se Ui, the operator of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (GaSeYeon), held a live broadcast revealing more allegations from Kim Sae Ron’s family. He shared a heartbreaking message that Kim Sae Ron allegedly sent to Kim Soo Hyun on March 19, 2024, just days after she reportedly received a legal notice demanding repayment of 700 million KRW.

In the message, Kim Sae Ron pleaded:

"Oppa, it’s Sae Ron. I received the legal notice. You said you’d give me enough time before suing, so I’ve been preparing for my return to acting and planning to repay the debt little by little with each project. I’m not saying I won’t pay, but if you demand the full 700 million won right away, I really can’t do it. It’s not that I won’t, but that I simply can’t. Do we really have to go to court? Please, I’m begging you, give me more time."

Kim Se Ui further claimed that after sending this message, Kim Sae Ron desperately tried to contact Kim Soo Hyun, but he never answered her calls. When she used her cousin’s phone to reach him, the number was allegedly leaked to entertainment journalists, resulting in reporters calling her to verify her identity.

Following this broadcast, a netizen left a comment that quickly went viral, stating:

"I saw another video saying that Kim Sae Ron’s aunt will soon release a three-minute-long recording. But I also heard that Won Bin knew about Kim Sae Ron’s suffering because of the 700 million won debt and tried to repay it for her. Won Bin is truly amazing—I feel like crying. Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun, who has hundreds of billions of won in assets, couldn’t even wait and instead pressured her with legal notices to repay the 700 million won, ultimately driving her out of her home and leading to her death?"

Kim Sae Ron tragically passed away at the age of 25 on February 16. In 2022, she was involved in a drunk driving accident in Gangnam, Seoul, crashing into trees, a transformer, and other roadside structures. Despite issuing a handwritten apology and personally meeting the affected shop owners to apologize, she continued to face intense online criticism.

With Won Bin’s name now being mentioned in this controversy, an old message Kim Sae Ron wrote about him has resurfaced, touching fans' hearts. Kim Sae Ron, who gained fame after starring alongside Won Bin in the 2010 movie The Man from Nowhere, once shared on Cyworld:

"On my birthday, Mr. Won Bin picked out this mini laptop for me. Thank you! I’ll grow up to be a good adult like you."

At the time, when a netizen left a malicious comment saying, “Stop showing off just because you have a laptop. You’re ugly,” Kim Sae Ron responded with maturity beyond her years, writing:

"I’m not trying to show off my laptop. I just wanted to express how warm and kind he is, as he cared for and remembered a child like me, who is otherwise insignificant. I won’t delete this post."

Won Bin was also spotted at Kim Sae Ron’s memorial service on February 17 at Asan Medical Center in Seoul. Reports stated that he quietly paid his respects before leaving after having a simple meal. Witnesses mentioned that he repeatedly wiped away tears as he spoke with acquaintances before departing from the funeral hall.

As these emotional revelations continue to surface, netizens are now questioning why Won Bin was willing to help Kim Sae Ron, while Kim Soo Hyun allegedly pressured her with legal action. With Kim Sae Ron’s family promising to release more evidence soon, the controversy is far from over.

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
