Gold Medalist reportedly pressured Kim Sae Ron to repay 700 million KRW (approx. $530,000), leaving her in a desperate situation.

The agency even sent her a legal notice, demanding full repayment and threatening legal action.

According to Dispatch, Kim Sae Ron sent a message to Kim Soo Hyun on March 24, 2024:

"Oppa, it's Sae Ron. I received a certified document. They’re saying they’ll sue me. If they demand 700 million KRW right away, I really can’t do it. Does it really have to go to a lawsuit? Please help me. Give me some time."

However, Kim Soo Hyun reportedly did not respond.

After being ignored, Kim Sae Ron allegedly took a bold step—she released a photo of them together. Many believe this was a subtle message urging Kim Soo Hyun to acknowledge their past relationship and step in to help.

Despite this, he still didn’t respond.

While Kim Sae Ron’s financial situation hadn’t changed, something on Kim Soo Hyun’s side had.

Gold Medalist later told Dispatch:

"Considering Kim Sae Ron’s situation, we decided not to take the money."

But why the sudden change? Some speculate that Kim Soo Hyun might have played a role behind the scenes, though he never publicly acknowledged it.

A neighbor who lived in the same apartment building as Kim Sae Ron shared a heartbreaking story.

"She sat on the stairs crying for a long time. I felt bad for her, so I comforted her. She seemed to be going through something really difficult."

The neighbor also noticed scars on her wrists, hinting at the emotional pain she was going through.

After all the speculation, Gold Medalist denied everything.

"All rumors are false."
