Kim Soo Hyun has firmly denied dating rumors with the late actress Kim Sae Ron, but YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (Gaseyeon) is not backing down.

On March 10, Gaseyeon posted on their YouTube community, responding to Kim Soo Hyun’s warning of legal action. They wrote, "It seems like Kim Soo Hyun doesn’t know who Garo Sero Institute’s Kim Se Ui is. Legal action? Even BTS, the so-called world star, once said they would sue us. And what happened? They all enlisted in the military. But now, a mere Hallyu star popular in China, Kim Soo Hyun?"

They continued, "We didn’t base our broadcast on random claims. We got our information directly from Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family. If you want to talk about legal action, why don’t you try saying that to them?"

The channel also made serious accusations, stating, "It looks like someone is planning to file a report tomorrow regarding a minor-related sexual issue. Dating a middle school sophomore? Surely he wouldn’t have had sexual relations with a minor, right?" They further added, "If you try to secretly persuade or threaten the bereaved family, we’ll find out."

Gaseyeon also questioned why Kim Soo Hyun did not attend Kim Sae Ron’s funeral, pointing out that even Won Bin was there. They stated, "As a human being, you should have at least fulfilled your basic duty."

Previously, Gaseyeon released a video titled “Kim Soo Hyun Led to Kim Sae Ron’s Death”, claiming he dated her for six years, starting when she was a minor. They also alleged that his agency, Gold Medalist, demanded the return of 700 million KRW used to cover damages from her DUI case.

Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, strongly refuted these claims, calling them "completely false."

They stated, "Gaseyeon alleged that Kim Soo Hyun and YouTuber Lee Jin Ho worked together to harass Kim Sae Ron. They also claimed he dated her from the age of 15, that our agency mishandled her DUI case, and that our manager had close ties with Lee Jin Ho. These are all malicious accusations."

Gold Medalist made it clear that legal action was coming, saying, "These are outright lies that we cannot tolerate. We are preparing the strongest possible legal measures against Gaseyeon for spreading false information."

The agency also addressed the tragic passing of Kim Sae Ron, saying, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Kim Sae Ron, who was once part of our agency, and we mourn her passing." However, they slammed Gaseyeon’s behavior, stating, "Their actions mimic the very ‘cyber wreckers’ that the deceased struggled with during her lifetime. They are using this situation for their own benefit, hurting both Kim Soo Hyun’s reputation and the honor of the deceased."

They firmly concluded, "We sincerely ask that these baseless falsehoods no longer be spread, amplified, or reproduced."
