• NewJeans (NJZ) Parents Accuse ADOR of Blocking Their Careers — ADOR Fires Back with First Court Case

The battle between NewJeans (NJZ) and ADOR is heating up, with both sides making strong claims about the group's future.

On March 6, the parents of NewJeans members shocked fans by claiming on social media, "ADOR's real goal is to completely block NJZ’s activities." They further stated, "Our exclusive contract with ADOR has already been terminated. ADOR has no right to manage or interfere with NewJeans' activities anymore."

However, ADOR quickly denied these accusations, releasing an official statement saying, "NewJeans has been actively promoting with new song releases and major overseas performances. We are not trying to stop their activities but simply ensuring that they continue under their valid contract with ADOR."

NewJeans members recently changed their team name to NJZ and launched their own social media accounts, hinting at their move toward independence. But ADOR isn’t backing down! The agency insists that their exclusive contract remains valid until 2029 and has taken legal action.

The first hearing for ADOR’s injunction to ban NJZ from signing independent advertising contracts will take place on March 7. Meanwhile, the court battle over whether the contract is still valid will begin on April 3.

The parents of NewJeans members released a lengthy statement, doubling down on their stance. They claim that:

ADOR did not fulfill its contract obligations, leading to the termination of their exclusive deal on November 29, 2024.

ADOR is wrongfully trying to control NJZ by filing legal actions to block them from promoting.

The company even attempted to ban NJZ from songwriting, composing, and performing!

ADOR’s legal actions came right after HYBE allegedly pressured concert organizers to cancel NJZ’s participation in the Complex concert.

The statement also accuses ADOR and HYBE of discriminating against NewJeans, limiting their activities, and even dismissing their achievements in the industry.

With both sides refusing to back down, this legal war is just getting started. ADOR insists that NewJeans must honor their contract, while NJZ’s side says they are fighting for their career freedom.

The court’s decision could change everything for NJZ and their future in the music industry. Stay tuned for updates.
