• Kim Seon Ho Reportedly Got a 2 Billion KRW Signing Bonus from Fantagio? - Agency Responds to the Big Rumor About His Fresh Start

Actor Kim Seon Ho has officially joined Fantagio, and now, rumors about a massive signing bonus are making headlines!

On March 6, Fantagio responded to reports claiming Kim Seon Ho received a ₩2 billion (approximately $1.5 million) signing bonus for signing with the agency. A Fantagio representative told Star News, "It is difficult to confirm details regarding the contract, including the signing bonus. We ask for your understanding."

Earlier, Sports Chosun reported that Kim Seon Ho chose Fantagio over HighZium Studio (home to Song Joong Ki) due to the large signing bonus. The report also mentioned that with Cha Eun Woo preparing for military enlistment, Fantagio needed a strong leading actor to fill the gap.

However, Fantagio maintained its position, refusing to confirm any financial details.

Fantagio officially announced their contract with Kim Seon Ho on March 1, stating, "Kim Seon Ho is a beloved actor with stable acting skills and a unique charm. We will provide our full support to help him expand his career across various projects and fields."

Kim Seon Ho also shared a photo of a cake on Instagram that read, "Kim Seon Ho, Welcome to Fantagio," showing fans that he’s ready for a fresh start.

The actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, "Can This Love Be Translated?" In the drama, he plays Joo Ho Jin, a multilingual interpreter who becomes the personal translator for a global top star, leading to an unexpected romance.

The series is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.

Fans are excited to see Kim Seon Ho take on new challenges under Fantagio—do you think the signing bonus rumors are true?

  • NewJeans pauses activities and shares tearful reaction to fan's sweet message — fans say “we’ll wait forever”

NewJeans quietly paused their activities after a tough legal battle… but a simple message from a fan left them emotional.

On April 12, NewJeans posted a single photo on their shared social media account, now renamed "mhdhh" (using the first letters of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein), without any caption.

The photo was of a short, handwritten letter from a fan that read, “I love you. I support you.” Touched by the heartfelt words, NewJeans added a crying cat emoji, showing how much the support meant to them.

Fans quickly noticed and filled the comments with love and encouragement like “We’ll be here no matter what” and NewJeans forever.”

This quiet but emotional post comes as NewJeans remains in a hiatus following a contract dispute with their agency ADOR.

Back in November, the members announced they would be starting solo schedules under a new name, NJZ, claiming ADOR had broken the terms of their contract. However, ADOR fired back with legal actions, including a lawsuit and a request to stop the girls from signing with other agencies or brands.

Last month, the court sided with ADOR, which forced the group to pause activities under the NJZ name. Their social media was also renamed from NJZ to “mhdhh” earlier this month.

Member Danielle recently opened up about her feelings in a long message on her birthday, just days after the official trial started on April 3 at the Seoul Central District Court.

Even though they’re not currently promoting, NewJeans’ fans continue to show strong support — and this small fan letter proves just how much that love means to the members.
