DRIPPIN member Hwang Yunseong is officially preparing for his mandatory military service.
On March 5, his agency Woollim Entertainment released a statement, confirming:
“Hwang Yunseong will enlist in active duty on March 24 to fulfill his military service obligation in South Korea.”
The agency also addressed fans, saying: “The recruit training center entrance ceremony will be attended by many soldiers and their families. To prevent congestion and ensure safety, there will be no separate official event. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site.”

They further added, “Please send warm support to Hwang Yunseong as he diligently fulfills his military duty and returns in good health.”
Hwang Yunseong debuted with DRIPPIN in October 2020 as part of the original seven-member lineup alongside Cha Junho, Kim Dongyun, Lee Hyeop, Joo Changwook, Kim Minseo, and Alex. The group later reorganized into six members following Alex’s departure in 2023.
Fans are already sending messages of support, promising to wait for Hwang Yunseong’s safe return after completing his service.
