Former Oh My Girl member Jiho, now going by Gong Jiho as an actress, is making waves in the drama world with her first major role in SBS’s Buried Hearts". She plays Myung Tae Geum, a genius hacker with a sharp mind and a mischievous side.
At first glance, Myung Tae Geum seems like just an ordinary musical instrument shop owner. But in reality, she’s the heir to a private loan business and a top-tier hacker with skills that can shake things up.
In Episode 3, which aired on February 28, Myung Tae Geum finally stepped into action.

At the request of her longtime friend Seo Dong Joo (played by Park Hyung Sik), she joined a high-stakes mission to hack into Yeom Jang Sun’s (played by Heo Jun Ho) massive 2 trillion won account.
While she’s usually playful, she showed intense focus when it mattered most, proving to be Seo Dong Joo’s most reliable ally.
After successfully pulling off the hack, her sassy line—"Come back with fanfare. And when Yeom Jang Sun loses his mind over this, make sure to let me watch."—had viewers loving her cheeky and confident attitude. Jiho’s effortless acting made Myung Tae Geum’s bold personality shine, and her chemistry with Park Hyung Sik was another major highlight.
Jiho, who debuted with Oh My Girl in 2015 and left the group in 2022 to pursue acting, is already proving she made the right choice. Her natural expressions, smooth delivery, and strong presence in Buried Hearts are earning her praise, and fans can’t wait to see how her character will impact the drama’s intense revenge plot.
