Single’s Inferno 4 star Lee Si An opened up about her past as a K-pop trainee and why she decided to walk away from the dream.
On February 28, a video titled "A Trip to Heaven with Si An" was uploaded to Kian84's YouTube channel Insaeng84.
During their conversation, Lee Si An invited Kian84 to her home and reflected on her trainee days. She revealed, "I started training when I was 18 or 19 and continued until I was 24. But after quitting, I immediately started modeling. There were so many things I wanted, but I couldn’t keep relying on my mom’s credit card."
She explained why she left the idol life behind, saying, "I wanted to be productive and make my own money. But as a trainee, I just couldn’t see a future."

After stepping away from training, Lee Si An began modeling and landed advertising gigs with sports brands.
"For big campaigns, I did print ads—the ones you see while walking down the street. I mainly worked on detailed product pages," she shared.
As for the friends she trained with, she revealed, "Some became dancers, others switched to modeling, some became flight attendants, and some went to college."
She added, "One thing about trainees who trained for a long time is that they give their all in whatever they do. Training shaped me into who I am today."
