Former FIFTY FIFTY members are making a fresh start under the new group ABLUME, and they’ve chosen a familiar face to guide their debut—producer Ahn Sung Il.
On February 26th, their new agency, MASSIVE E&C, told OSEN, “While discussing ABLUME’s future, the members personally requested Ahn Sung Il as their producer. We reached out to him, and he agreed, so they are now working together.”
ABLUME consists of Sio, Saena, and Aran, who were originally part of FIFTY FIFTY before their sudden legal battle with their former agency, ATTRAKT.
The group stopped activities just six months after debuting, filing for an injunction to terminate their contracts.
Meanwhile, their former member Keena withdrew her appeal and returned to ATTRAKT, but the other three members continued fighting their case.
Following this, ATTRAKT officially terminated their contracts and even filed a lawsuit against Ahn Sung Il, the CEO of The Givers, who had been involved in FIFTY FIFTY’s music production.
Despite the controversy, Sio, Saena, and Aran moved forward, signing with MASSIVE E&C and announcing their re-debut as ABLUME.
Now, the trio is set to make their comeback in the first half of this year, once again teaming up with Ahn Sung Il to produce their debut album.
Fans are curious to see what kind of music they will bring this time around!
