Seo Kang Joon is proving his star power as his new drama Undercover High School takes the top spot in buzz rankings.

On February 24, Good Data Corporation, a company that tracks online reactions to K-content, announced that MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Undercover High School ranked #1 in TV-OTT drama buzz for the third week of February.

Not only that, but lead actor Seo Kang Joon also topped the TV-OTT drama actor buzz rankings, showing just how much viewers are loving his performance.

The drama follows a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to retrieve Emperor Gojong’s lost gold bars.

Seo Kang Joon plays the elite NIS agent Jung Hae Sung, who ditches his suit for a school uniform to complete his mission.

Despite tough competition from SBS’s Buried Hearts (ranked #2) and tvN’s My Dearest Nemesis (ranked #6), Undercover High School secured the top spot, largely thanks to Seo Kang Joon’s performance.

According to Good Data Corporation’s Won Soon Woo, “Based on netizens’ sentiment analysis, Seo Kang Joon was chosen as the actor who best suits his male lead role among the three new dramas. The positive response to his visuals and acting has directly boosted the drama’s popularity.”

Meanwhile, Netflix originals are also making waves, with The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call and Melo Movie ranking #3 and #4, while the highly anticipated When Life Gives You Tangerines entered the chart at #8 before its release.

Other school-themed dramas are also gaining attention, with Friendly Competition (U+ Mobile TV) and Study Group landing at #5 and #9, respectively.

Yoon Ha Jung from Single’s Inferno 3 has opened up about her massive earnings after appearing on the hit Netflix dating show.

On February 23, a video featuring Yoon Ha Jung was uploaded to Musinsa Magazine’s YouTube series Unofficial Trend.

The former office worker, who transitioned into a model and influencer, shared some surprising details about her income.

“I’m not bragging, but after Single’s Inferno, I hardly ever buy clothes with my own money,” she admitted. She explained that she receives plenty of sponsored outfits and simply posts them on social media.

Not just fashion brands—Yoon Ha Jung revealed that she’s also dominating the beauty industry! “I’ve done the most cosmetic ads,” she said, adding, “I consistently get about four to five advertisements per month. YouTube ads are separate.”

At one point, she even filmed up to 20 ads in a single month! “There were days when I had to shoot two or three ads in one day,” she recalled.

When asked how much her income has increased compared to her office job, Yoon Ha Jung shocked everyone by saying, “Tens of times more? Maybe 100 times more?”

However, with great income comes great taxes. “I pay more than 48% in comprehensive income tax,” she revealed.

According to the 2023 tax rates, anyone making over 1 billion KRW (about $750,000 USD) falls under a 45% tax rate—meaning Yoon Ha Jung’s earnings might be well over that mark!

Meanwhile, Yoon Ha Jung, born in 1998, is now 27 years old. She skyrocketed to fame after appearing on Single’s Inferno 3, which was released in December 2023.
