Girl’s Day’s Hyeri made it clear—she’s over the drama with Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee, but she’s not here for the jokes.
On February 22, Hyeri appeared as the first guest on Coupang Play’s new show Office Workers. But instead of a lighthearted chat, things quickly turned awkward when the conversation shifted to her infamous “Funny” post—which many saw as shade toward ex-boyfriend Ryu Jun Yeol and his short-lived romance with Han So Hee.
Host Shin Dong Yup casually asked if Hyeri ever regretted posting something after drinking. Without hesitation, she confidently responded, “Not even once.”
But things got tense when comedian Kim Won Hoon brought up her viral post, saying, “Doing it sober makes it even more ‘funny’”.
Hyeri’s smile instantly disappeared. She fired back, “I get that you’re an office worker, but let’s not say ‘funny’. Just say something is funny when it actually is. Right now, it’s not funny”.
But Kim Won Hoon didn’t back down. He pushed further, asking if her agency contacted her after the controversy blew up. Hyeri was not having it.

She played dumb, saying, “Depends on the situation. What kind of situation are you talking about?” When Kim Won Hoon kept pressing, she shut him down completely, snapping, “How old are you? You really seem clueless”.
Later in the interview, she threw even more shade, questioning his status. “Was he an assistant manager? Or a junior employee? That guy was weird”.
For those who missed it, Hyeri went viral after posting “Funny” on Instagram right after Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s relationship was exposed.
Fans quickly speculated that she was taking a dig at her ex, leading to intense backlash. The drama escalated to the point where Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee eventually broke up.
Even now, Hyeri isn’t letting it slide—and she’s not afraid to throw some subtle (or not-so-subtle) shade.
