• "Love Scout" star Lee Jun Hyuk found out about Han Ji Min’s relationship late—But says, "It didn’t affect me at all"

Actor Lee Jun Hyuk shared his honest thoughts about co-star Han Ji Min’s public relationship with Jannabi's Choi Jung Hoon. In a recent interview, he admitted he had no clue about their romance while working on their drama Love Scout.

"I didn’t know while filming the drama", Lee Jun Hyuk confessed. "The relationship was revealed around the later part of filming, but it didn’t affect me at all".

He even compared it to Hollywood, saying, "It’s like how Brad Pitt’s divorce didn’t stop me from getting immersed in Allied." He added, "If you overthink things like that, it just makes things difficult."

Lee Jun Hyuk also had nothing but praise for Han Ji Min, saying, "She’s been a star I’ve admired since I was young. Acting with her at such a close distance, like 0.1m, felt surreal". He continued, "She’s someone who acts with precision. Everything about working with her was great."

He also spoke highly of her character, saying, "She’s built up her career over a long time, and she must have faced many hardships. But she has handled everything so well. She’s a dependable colleague and a great person."

Love Scout is a romantic drama about Ji Yoon (Han Ji Min), a headhunting company CEO who excels at work but struggles with love, and Eun Ho (Lee Jun Hyuk), her perfect secretary who is great at both work and life.

Lee Jun Hyuk won viewers over with his portrayal of Yoo Eun Ho, described as "the ideal man with all the qualities women love."

When asked if he picked up any dating tips from playing Eun Ho, Lee Jun Hyuk laughed and said, "Rather than thinking about how this would help me in dating, I just enjoyed watching certain scenes."

He added, "It’s not just women—anyone would appreciate having someone around who takes care of the little things. I learned things that would be good to do for others as a person."

As for how similar he is to his character, he shared, "I think I do try to take care of the people around me. Romantic comedy trends have changed—before, people liked loud, dramatic expressions of love, but now it’s more subtle. Eun Ho does things that anyone, men included, would appreciate."

He further explained, "Eun Ho’s personality is an exaggerated version of certain traits. It might sound odd to say I’m like him, but I do try to keep a positive vibe on set and ease tension when needed. I don’t like situations escalating into something worse, so in that way, I think we’re similar."

He jokingly added, "Our voices are alike too. In my past roles, I often played characters who killed people, so I couldn’t really show similarities. But Eun Ho is just a regular guy, so we have more in common."

Returning to the romantic comedy genre after a long time, Lee Jun Hyuk reflected, "It’s interesting that younger actors now say they want to do romance dramas. Back then, actors were all about serious genre pieces and emotional acting."

He added, "I think I didn’t do many romance projects before because my personal taste leaned toward other genres, and I didn’t seem to fit romantic roles at the time."

When asked if he’d do another romance drama, he answered, "If the project is good, I’d do it. Romance wasn’t my preferred genre before, but I’ve realized it’s not that different from action or thriller genres."

He added, "In a thriller, a key scene might involve someone dying, while in romance, the key scene might be a kiss. The rhythm is actually quite similar. That’s why I’ve become more open to romance projects."

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
