• "Single’s Inferno 3" star Jo Min Ji Stuns fans with a Big Career Move as She Becomes a Sports Announcer for MBC Sports Plus

    Jo Min Ji, who wowed viewers with her beauty and intelligence on Netflix’s Single’s Inferno 3, is stepping into a whole new role—as a sports announcer!

    On February 21, MBC Plus announced that Jo Min Ji has officially joined MBC Sports Plus and will be hosting the studio segments of M-Sports in Camp 2025, a special KBO League spring camp coverage program starting February 22.

    Jo Min Ji first gained attention as the Miss Korea runner-up in 2021 before making waves on Single’s Inferno 3 as the “female shark.” Since then, she has continued working as an announcer, and now, she’s taking on a new challenge in the sports world!

    She won’t be alone—her co-host, Im Chae Won, is also a fresh face in the industry. Im Chae Won, who previously won Miss Glorize Korea and trained as an idol, will bring her own charm to the show. MBC Plus shared, “With these two new announcers, M-Sports in Camp 2025 will have a unique and refreshing atmosphere compared to traditional sports programs.”

    M-Sports in Camp 2025 will air live every evening for 10 days, from February 22 to March 3. The show will deliver the latest updates on KBO League teams currently training in Okinawa and Miyazaki, Japan, with in-depth coverage of training sessions, key player interviews, and team performance analysis.

    Four of the Samsung Lions’ practice games will also be broadcast live at 1 PM, followed by highlights and expert analysis. Field reporters Jung Byung Moon, Kim Soo Hwan, and Kim Hee Yeon will provide on-site updates, while top commentators like Lee Sang Hoon, Jung Min Chul, Park Jae Hong, Kim Sun Woo, and Heo Do Hwan will break down the action.

    The MBC Sports Plus production team expressed their excitement, saying, “To make this season’s spring camp coverage even more immersive, we’ve assembled the best commentators and production staff for on-site reporting. With rookie announcers Jo Min Ji and Im Chae Won leading the studio, we’re looking forward to bringing a fresh and dynamic broadcast.”
