• Jo Jung Suk Says Sorry After His Face Was Accidentally Shown on Live Broadcast—Now He’s Not Sure What to Do Next

Actor Jo Jung Suk has spoken up about his unexpected face reveal during a live broadcast and issued an apology to fans.

On February 20, a new video was uploaded on his YouTube channel Cheonggyesan Dangi Records.

In the video, Jo Jung Suk appeared as his YouTuber alter ego, Dangi Dad, wearing a mascot head. He greeted fans by saying, "I’m greeting you in a new way today, so you might be a little surprised."

He then addressed the live broadcast accident, saying, "During my first-ever live stream, I made a mistake—though it wasn’t exactly intentional. As a mysterious YouTuber, I feel like I may have disappointed many people, and I sincerely apologize."

Explaining why he decided to wear a mascot head now, he said, "Wearing this makes me feel lighter. I’ve received drama offers and invitations to various media, but since I can’t always appear as an emoji, I had this made. This way, if I get invited to different programs, I can consider them more seriously."

Jo Jung Suk also confessed that he was struggling with his decision, saying, "To be honest, I don’t know if this is the right choice. I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and I still am."

He added, "Should I just reveal my face and continue as myself? There are two sides of me—Jo Jung Suk and Dangi Dad—and right now, they’re clashing."

He then bowed his head and apologized once more, saying, "I deeply regret making such a critical mistake. I feel like I’ve lost my 'mystery' and instead became 'completely revealed,' and I’m truly sorry for that."

For those unfamiliar, Cheonggyesan Dangi Records is Jo Jung Suk’s personal YouTube channel, where he has been active as Dangi Dad, hiding his face using an emoji filter.

However, during his first-ever live broadcast, Jo Jung Suk accidentally touched his face, causing the emoji filter to disappear—exposing his real face to viewers.

Shocked by the mistake, he appeared flustered, while fans had a good laugh in the chat, leaving comments like "Just reveal your identity already," "A classic rookie YouTuber mistake," and "Jo Jung Suk getting surprised by his own face."

Now, fans are curious—will Jo Jung Suk keep up the mystery, or will he finally reveal himself for good?
