• IVE Takes Over the Charts with ‘Rebel Heart’ and ‘Attitude’ — Fans Can’t Get Enough of Their Record-Breaking Hits

MZ’s ultimate icons IVE are proving their unstoppable power, completely dominating the music charts!

According to major Korean music platforms, IVE’s pre-release track “Rebel Heart” from their third mini-album IVE EMPATHY has officially taken the No.1 spot on Melon, Genie, and Bugs' weekly charts from February 10 to February 16.

Impressively, the song has held onto its No.1 spot on Genie for two weeks straight and Bugs for an incredible five weeks in a row!

Previously, “Rebel Heart” made headlines for achieving a Perfect All-Kill (PAK)—a major feat in K-pop—by topping the real-time, daily, and TOP100 charts on platforms like Melon, Genie, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs. Now, with the song also ruling the weekly rankings, IVE’s digital power is stronger than ever!

Meanwhile, another title track, “Attitude”, is quickly climbing the charts too! The song peaked at No.1 on Bugs' real-time chart and Melon’s HOT100 (for newly released songs).

It also reached No.3 on Melon HOT100 (for songs released within 100 days), No.4 on Genie’s real-time chart, and No.4 on FLO’s chart.

As of 9 AM on February 19, “Attitude” even landed at No.5 on Melon’s TOP100 chart—an achievement that proves its strong public appeal, as the chart is known for being extremely competitive.

“Rebel Heart”, released on January 13, carries a message of unity among bold and rebellious individuals, with an emotional yet powerful chorus that resonates deeply with listeners.

On the other hand, “Attitude”, which dropped on February 3, embodies IVE’s signature confidence, highlighting their strong identity and fearless energy.

The contrast between the two tracks has been a huge hit with fans!

Even though IVE wrapped up promotions for IVE EMPATHY with their final performance on SBS Inkigayo on February 16, their songs continue to dominate the charts, proving their long-lasting influence. And it’s not just Korea—IVE’s global popularity is skyrocketing as well!

This massive success is thanks to the dedication of IVE members Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, as well as Starship Entertainment’s General Producer and Director Seohyunju, and, of course, their devoted fanbase, DIVE.

But that’s not all! IVE will soon be meeting fans in person at their third fan concert, IVE SCOUT, happening on April 5 and 6 at KSPO Dome (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul.

With back-to-back hits and non-stop success, IVE is showing the world why they’re one of the hottest girl groups right now.

  • Sunmi’s NFT Project Raised Billions, Then Crashed—Now Angry Investors Want Answers

Sunmi is caught up in controversy after the NFT project she promoted made billions of KRW—only to lose most of its value, leaving investors frustrated.

According to Kyunghyang Shinmun on February 21, Sunmi, her agency, and a KOSDAQ-listed company launched the NFT collection Sunmiya Club in February 2022.

The project used blockchain technology to verify ownership of digital assets, turning illustrations inspired by Sunmi’s career into NFTs. Buyers were promised exclusive services to increase their investment value.

Thanks to Sunmi’s strong promotion, the NFTs were a huge success at first, selling out and making billions of KRW.

However, things took a turn when the NFT market crashed due to the Terra-Luna crisis and the bankruptcy of the U.S. crypto exchange FTX in late 2022.

By 2023, Sunmiya Club had stalled, and the once high-value NFTs dropped to just tens of thousands of KRW.

As investors faced major losses, some turned their frustration toward Sunmi. In response, the company behind the project stated, “We have fully followed the roadmap announced at the beginning and have continued operations.

The funds raised from the NFTs were used for operational costs and investments in a new platform launched last year.”

Despite the company’s defense, many are still questioning what went wrong and whether Sunmi will address the backlash.
