• Lee Jun Hyuk Shows a Whole New Side in "My Perfect Secretary" — Opens Up About Why He Stays Humble Even With All the Love

Actor Lee Jun Hyuk is stealing hearts once again as he graces the cover of ELLE MAN in three different versions, showing off his undeniable charm!

On February 19, ELLE MAN unveiled its latest issue featuring Lee Jun Hyuk. Dressed in high-end LOEWE fashion, he captivated fans with his signature intense gaze and playful poses, proving why he’s one of the industry’s most charismatic stars.

"I Tell Myself Not to Get Ahead of Myself"

In the interview, Lee Jun Hyuk was asked if he feels the growing love from fans. He humbly admitted, "I'm too busy with my next project to really notice, but I do feel like I'm getting more work. My staff and people around me seem happier about it than I am. I always tell myself, 'Don't get ahead of yourself' (laughs). When that happens, I just assume the project must have done well."

From action-packed movies like The Roundup: No Way Out to his intense role in Good or Bad Dong Jae and now My Perfect Secretary, Lee has tackled all kinds of characters.

Talking about playing a father in his latest drama, he shared, "I don’t think this drama was meant to show the real struggles of parenting. Some works focus on reality, while others give an idealized version of the future. Even if it feels like a fantasy, sometimes we need something to aspire to. This time, I wanted to aim for that."

"Acting Lets Me Find New Sides of Myself"

Despite his calm personality, Lee Jun Hyuk has built an impressive career by constantly challenging himself.

When asked what keeps him going after nearly 20 years in acting, he said, "I’ve always kept a clear line between myself and my characters. In real life, I avoid the spotlight, but through my roles—or even today’s photoshoot where I’m holding flowers—I discover new parts of myself. I love analyzing scenes and understanding what they mean. In a way, even looking at 'Lee Jun Hyuk' through a certain frame is interesting. Creating something from nothing and sharing it with people excites me. Maybe that’s my pure driving force."

Meanwhile, Lee Jun Hyuk is already working on his next project, the Netflix series Lady Dua. The drama follows Sara Kim (Shin Hye Sun), a woman determined to live a luxurious life—even if it’s all fake—and Mu Kyung (Lee Jun Hyuk), a man who stops at nothing to chase after her ambitions.

He will play a sharp-eyed detective obsessed with solving cases, and fans are already excited to see his next big transformation.
