P1Harmony's Kiho is speaking out after his mother’s fraud case made headlines once again.
On February 17th, Kiho's agency, FNC Entertainment, issued a statement clarifying the situation. They explained that Kiho’s mother was reported to the police last year for fraud, but after an investigation, no charges were pressed.
However, due to an appeal from the victim, the case has recently been re-opened.

The agency emphasized that Kiho is not involved in the incident and had no knowledge of its progress. They also revealed that the victim had mistakenly mentioned Kiho’s name on social media. Thankfully, the victim later apologized and cleared up the misunderstanding.
FNC also made it clear that if Kiho's mother is found guilty, she will face legal consequences. "As a son, Kiho will sincerely apologize to anyone affected and will do his best to resolve this issue," they added.
The statement concluded with a request for patience and respect. "Since the investigation is still ongoing, we ask that people refrain from spreading false rumors or attacking Kiho personally," the agency said. "We sincerely apologize for causing any concern regarding the artist’s family."
Kiho’s mother was previously sued in March of last year for fraud and unauthorized fundraising. In response, FNC Entertainment clarified that the controversy was related to her personal matters and not to Kiho’s career.
Despite this, a man named Mr. A, who claims to be a victim of the fraud, staged a protest in front of FNC’s building to demand justice.
Kiho and his agency are doing their best to move forward and resolve the matter peacefully.
