The legendary Nicole from K-pop group Kara has officially joined forces with singer and actor Kim Jaejoong!

INCODE Entertainment announced on the 18th that they have signed an exclusive contract with Nicole, confirming her new chapter in the entertainment industry. The agency stated, "Nicole is a talented and versatile entertainer, and we will give her full support to help her show her abilities as an artist."

INCODE Entertainment was founded by Kim Jaejoong, alongside CEO Noh Hyun-tae, who once served as vice president of Cube Entertainment. The agency already houses groups like SEIMYNAME and actors such as Kim Min Jae, Lee Ji Hoon, and more.

Nicole made her debut as a member of Kara in 2007 and became a Hallyu star with hits like "Pretty Girl," "Honey," "Lupin," and "Jumping." Her influence spread beyond Korea to Japan, where she became a major figure in the K-pop scene.

As a solo artist, Nicole released her first mini-album First Romance in 2014, further proving her musical talents. Last year, she impressed fans by reaching the finals of the Chinese girl group audition program Ride The Wind 2024 (乘风2024).

Nicole also made waves at the 32nd HANTER Music Awards 2024 on the 15th, performing a special collaboration stage of “Mister” with SEIMYNAME, which grabbed everyone’s attention.

With Nicole now under Kim Jaejoong’s INCODE Entertainment, all eyes are on what’s next for this powerhouse duo.

Actor Lee Yi Kyung surprised viewers by revealing his extremely frugal lifestyle, which he says comes from his father.

On the February 20 episode of tvN STORY’s A Billion-Won Breakfast, Lee Yi Kyung’s simple morning routine was shown.

Appearing on camera with a sleepy, puffy face, he laughed and said, “I look terrible. This is the real me.”

Dr. Oh Eun Young was surprised to see him waking up early at 6 AM, but Lee Yi Kyung explained, “I can’t sleep in.”

What caught the most attention was how he stayed warm in the winter. Instead of using the boiler, he turned on a small heater.

He said, “My father always did this. Even now, he wears a lightweight padded jacket at home. He says wearing one in winter is enough to stay warm.”

Hearing this, Dr. Oh Eun Young commented, “If you catch a cold, the medical expenses will cost more. Being frugal is good, but this might make marriage difficult.”

Lee Yi Kyung responded with a laugh, saying, “People say that a lot. But whoever marries me can just turn on the boiler. I’ll just turn it off in my own space.”
