
Won Bin, who has been away from the spotlight for years, made a rare public appearance to pay respects to the late Kim Sae Ron.
On February 17th, a funeral altar for Kim Sae Ron was set up at the Seoul Asan Medical Center. Her parents and younger sisters, Kim Ah Ron and Kim Ye Ron, stood as chief mourners.
Upon hearing the tragic news, Won Bin and his wife, actress Lee Na Young, sent a condolence wreath. The ribbon on the wreath read, "Deepest condolences for the deceased."
But that wasn’t all—Won Bin also visited the funeral hall in person. The actor, who starred alongside Kim Sae Ron in the 2010 hit film The Man from Nowhere, has been on a long hiatus from the entertainment industry.

However, he made a rare public appearance to personally offer his condolences, showing his deep respect for his former co-star.
Actresses Han So Hee and Kim Bo Ra were also spotted at the funeral. Kim Bo Ra’s condolence wreath had a heartfelt message that read, "When we meet again, I’ll nag you less."
Other celebrities also sent condolence wreaths, including actors Gong Myung, Ma Dong Seok, and the band FTISLAND. ASTRO’s MJ and Jinjin also sent a wreath on behalf of their agency, Fantagio.
Blitzway Studio, which represents stars like Go Doo Shim, Jung Ryeo Won, Joo Ji Hoon, Son Dam Bi, Chun Woo Hee, Park Ha Sun, and Woo Do Hwan, also expressed their condolences.
Even Kim Se Ui, the head of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute, sent a wreath to honor Kim Sae Ron.
