• Choi Woo Shik Wanted to Do Well in Romance But Was Nervous—Park Bo Young Stepped In to Help Him with the Kiss Scene

Choi Woo Shik opened up about his desire to improve in romance dramas and how his co-star Park Bo Young helped him, especially with their kiss scene!

On February 17, Choi Woo Shik sat down for an interview at a café in Seoul to talk about his new Netflix series Melo Movie. The actor revealed that after starring in Our Beloved Summer, he wanted to do more romance projects but felt nervous about it.

"I really wanted to show a different side of me in Melo Movie," he shared. "In Our Beloved Summer, my character was more quiet and reserved, but this time, I play someone who is confident, straightforward, and curious. I haven’t done many romance projects before, so I was really ambitious about this one. I wanted to capture the hearts of viewers who loved Our Beloved Summer."

Since romance is all about chemistry, Choi Woo Shik admitted that it was a challenging genre for him. "Romance isn’t easy. You have to make people believe in the love story. Unlike action scenes, where it’s all about physical movements, romance needs deep emotional connection between actors. If that chemistry isn’t there, the scenes won’t work," he explained.

When talking about working with Park Bo Young, he had nothing but praise. "It was my first time acting with someone my age, so it felt really comfortable and fun. I think Bo Young felt the same way. There were moments in romance dramas that I wasn’t fully familiar with, and she helped me a lot," he revealed.

One key moment where Park Bo Young guided him was during their kiss scene in episode 1. "There’s a kiss scene by a telephone pole, and she helped me figure out how to position my head. After filming, we reviewed the footage and I got a lot of feedback. That really helped me get more comfortable with romance scenes," he shared.

Choi Woo Shik also talked about the difference between working with Park Bo Young and Kim Da Mi, who played his love interest in Our Beloved Summer.

"Both Da Mi and Bo Young are really thoughtful actresses. Da Mi tends to think a lot, and I was the same, so we spent time figuring things out together. Bo Young, on the other hand, has a lot of experience, so she always had clear answers. She knew exactly how to bring out the best in a scene," he explained.

With Melo Movie, Choi Woo Shik plays a character from his teenage years to his thirties, and he reflected on wearing a school uniform again. "This might be my last time playing a high school student," he said with a laugh. "But it was fun to relive those days through the role."

Fans are excited to see Choi Woo Shik take on a more mature romance role, and with Park Bo Young by his side, the chemistry is expected to be top-notch!

  • Lee Jong Suk Reacts to Jung Hae In's Social Media Drama, His Surprising Comments Leave Fans Stunned

Actor Jung Hae In is finding himself in a very awkward situation over his social media following, and even his good friend Lee Jong Suk has shared his thoughts on the matter!

Recently, Jung Hae In's personal social media account has been flooded with requests from fans to unfollow actor Kim Soo Hyun, who is facing serious personal issues and a legal dispute.

This controversy started after Kim Soo Hyun was edited out of the MBC variety show Good Day, and the public began questioning whether continuing to follow him on social media was a sign of support.

The situation became more complicated when fellow "88s" group member Im Si Wan unfollowed everyone on his list except his agency.

Fans quickly pressured Jung Hae In to do the same, but many felt this demand was unfair.

What really made headlines, though, was Lee Jong Suk’s unexpected reaction to the whole situation. Lee Jong Suk, who is close to Jung Hae In, seemed taken aback by the pressure his friend was under.

He was quoted saying, “It’s just a follow. People need to stop overreacting. Jung Hae In is his own person, and his choices should be respected.” His words have left fans in shock, especially since Lee Jong Suk is usually more private.

While Jung Hae In has done nothing wrong, he’s now caught in the middle of a social media frenzy. Should he unfollow Kim Soo Hyun just to please the public, or should he stand his ground and stay true to his friendships?

Fans are eagerly waiting to see how he will handle this situation, especially with Lee Jong Suk’s support behind him.
