• BTS' Jin Breaks Another Record, 'Running Wild' Becomes the Most-Streamed Song in Spotify UAE History + No.1 on 4 Charts for 10 Weeks

BTS member Jin is proving his unstoppable power once again!

On November 15 last year, Jin dropped his first solo album Happy, and its title track Running Wild immediately took over the charts.

The pop-rock song, inspired by British rock and infused with a refreshing new wave sound, has been receiving massive love worldwide.

According to Spotify's UAE Weekly Charts released on February 14th, Jin has continued his reign at No. 1 on four major charts: Weekly Top Songs UAE, Weekly Top Artists UAE, Daily Top Songs UAE, and Daily Top Artists UAE.

With this, Jin became the first and only K-pop artist to hold the top spot on all four charts for 10 consecutive weeks!

Not only that, but Running Wild also made history by surpassing The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights in streaming numbers, becoming the most-streamed song in Spotify UAE chart history.

Jin’s success isn’t just limited to the UAE. Running Wild also climbed to No. 6 on Spotify’s Global Chart and even hit No. 1 on Spotify Japan’s Daily Top Songs, surpassing BTS’s own mega-hit Butter! This makes it the most-streamed song by a K-pop artist in the country.

As if that wasn’t enough, Running Wild was recently chosen for Amazon Music’s 2025 Playlist, making Jin the only male K-pop artist to be included.

With this milestone, Jin continues to show his incredible global influence and solidify his place in music history!

  • NewJeans' Fandom Divided Over Lawsuit — Truck Protest Outside HYBE Raises Concerns about Massive Financial Penalties

The NewJeans contract dispute is getting more intense, and now, some fans have started a truck protest urging ADOR to talk things out.

On March 27, trucks were spotted in front of HYBE’s headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, displaying messages like “We respect NewJeans, but we can’t let them walk a dangerous path” and NewJeans has 6 members, but the penalty is for 5.”

These protesting fans are worried about NewJeans’ decision to keep fighting the lawsuit despite the court already ruling in ADOR’s favor. They warn that if NewJeans loses the main case, the financial penalty could be massive.

The court previously dismissed the group’s claims for contract termination, raising concerns that the members could face even bigger disadvantages in the next trial.

NewJeans first notified ADOR of their contract termination last November and later rebranded as NJZ, preparing for independent activities.

However, the court sided with ADOR, stating there was "not enough reason to justify ending the contract." Despite this, NewJeans has filed an objection, and a new hearing is set for April 9.

The group firmly claims that “trust with ADOR is completely broken, and we cannot work together anymore.” But inside the fandom, opinions are split—some want to support the members no matter what, while others worry that “this fight might only hurt them in the end.”
