Actress Shim Eun Kyung recently became a successful fan by meeting NewJeans, but fans couldn’t help but notice her stiff expression in the photo!

On the February 15 episode of MBC’s Hangout with Yoo, Shim Eun Kyung reunited with Yoo Jae Suk after 11 years since her Running Man appearance. During the show, it was revealed that she got to meet NewJeans, fulfilling her dream as a fan.

NewJeans members shared, “She came to our waiting room because she wanted to greet us.” Hearing this, Lee Yi Kyung excitedly reacted, “She made it!”

However, when a picture of Shim Eun Kyung with NewJeans was shown, Yoo Jae Suk couldn’t help but point out, “Why do you look so stiff? You look completely out of it.”

Laughing, Shim Eun Kyung admitted, “That’s true,” and explained, “I was so overwhelmed at the time. It was an arena event, and I had to present an award and introduce TVXQ."

She added, "I was already drained, and then suddenly, they just walked in!” She even reenacted her frozen reaction, making everyone laugh.

She continued, “I had to prove I was a fan, so I even showed them my phone grip with their design. That photo was actually the best one I took!”

Shim Eun Kyung also revealed that she had been leaving comments on NewJeans’ new social media account and was thrilled when members Hanni and Haerin responded.

“I kept leaving comments one-sidedly, so I think they eventually replied,” she said humbly. When Yoo Jae Suk teased, “You weren’t just trying to show off your fangirl side, right?” she laughed and admitted, “No, I was definitely trying to make it obvious!”

Seeing her love for NewJeans, Yoo Jae Suk wrapped up by saying, “It’s so nice to see Eun Kyung and NewJeans supporting each other,” bringing warmth to the broadcast.

Actor Lee Yi Kyung surprised viewers by revealing his extremely frugal lifestyle, which he says comes from his father.

On the February 20 episode of tvN STORY’s A Billion-Won Breakfast, Lee Yi Kyung’s simple morning routine was shown.

Appearing on camera with a sleepy, puffy face, he laughed and said, “I look terrible. This is the real me.”

Dr. Oh Eun Young was surprised to see him waking up early at 6 AM, but Lee Yi Kyung explained, “I can’t sleep in.”

What caught the most attention was how he stayed warm in the winter. Instead of using the boiler, he turned on a small heater.

He said, “My father always did this. Even now, he wears a lightweight padded jacket at home. He says wearing one in winter is enough to stay warm.”

Hearing this, Dr. Oh Eun Young commented, “If you catch a cold, the medical expenses will cost more. Being frugal is good, but this might make marriage difficult.”
