BTS member Jungkook, who is currently serving in the military, touched fans' hearts with a heartfelt late-night letter.
On February 15, Jungkook shared a long message on a fan communication platform, starting with a warm greeting: "ARMY, are you doing well?"
The singer opened up about his feelings, writing, "Today's weather feels especially bleak. It's one of those nights when my mind is full."
He continued, "Sometimes, I imagine a picture of me and ARMY together. The smile that spreads on my face in that moment makes me really happy. But at times, I also wonder if those moments will only remain as imagination."
Despite his worries, Jungkook reassured fans, saying, "Of course, even that doubt, I question, because I know we’ll create even more beautiful memories. But I have to put in the effort for that."
He expressed his deep love for ARMY, stating, "I never forget that the owner of the pencil writing my story is all of you." However, he also admitted his struggles, saying, "Even though I know this, I still feel impatient, hopeful, and a little anxious."
Jungkook ended his message with emotional words, saying, "I just… I think about you all so much. That’s all I want you to know. I don’t ask for anything else." He added, "Thank you for reading this. I miss you today as well. I’m still waiting. Please take care of your health, everyone. I love you."
Meanwhile, Jungkook enlisted alongside fellow BTS member Jimin on December 12, 2023. He is currently serving as a corporal in the 5th Infantry Division of the Army and is scheduled to be discharged on June 11, 2025.
