• NewJeans Shakes Things Up—Are They Really Moving to a New Agency After ADOR?

NewJeans is making huge moves after announcing they'd be active under the name "NJZ"—and now, they're reportedly considering joining the agency Beasts And Natives Alike (BANA) after leaving ADOR!

Multiple industry sources have confirmed that NewJeans is in talks with BANA, which has previously worked with Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, on many of the group's hit songs.

According to sources from Ten Asia on February 14, NewJeans has recently asked BANA to manage their entertainment activities, with BANA also handling overseas media interviews for the group.

One insider explained, "BANA is acting as NewJeans' agency now, and many believe this partnership is happening to help resolve current issues".

The collaboration is making waves, especially considering BANA’s role in managing artists and producing music. Notably, producers 250 (Iogong) and FRNK (Frank) from BANA have worked on several popular NewJeans songs.

BANA is known for representing artists like f(x)'s Krystal and rapper Beenzino, making them a strong player in the entertainment industry.

Fans got a hint of the change when NewJeansHyein mentioned during an Instagram Live on February 7 that the group would soon have an agent (agency). While Ten Asia reached out to BANA for comment, the agency has yet to confirm the news.

  • G-Dragon’s concert chaos—some fans caught smoking, littering, and rushing the stage despite security warnings

G-Dragon’s highly anticipated solo concert was overshadowed by fan misbehavior, causing frustration among attendees.

On March 29 and 30, G-Dragon finally met fans at the G-Dragon 2025 World Tour [Übermensch] in Korea, Presented by Coupang Play at Goyang Sports Complex. While the event marked his grand return after eight years, some fans’ reckless actions sparked controversy.

Right after the concert, online forums were flooded with complaints, with photos exposing the chaos.

One major issue was a Chinese couple seen smoking e-cigarettes inside the venue. A frustrated fan shared, “They were vaping during the concert. Security told them to stop, but they acted like they didn’t understand. As soon as security left, they did it again. I’m still furious.”

Fans also criticized the excessive littering, as the venue floor was covered in plastic packaging and boxes from official merchandise, making it look like a dumping ground.

Additionally, when G-Dragon moved closer to the audience, some fans rushed forward in a dangerous stampede.

Netizens expressed concern, saying, “If one person rushes, others follow. This is really dangerous.” Another wrote, “If you act like this, don’t call yourself a fan.”

Some pointed fingers at Chinese fans for the disorderly conduct, while others argued that Korean fans also contributed to the chaos.

Despite the issues, the concert was still a meaningful event, with G-Dragon donating ₩300 million (about $225,000) from the proceeds to wildfire relief efforts.

However, problems like poor sound quality and weather-related delays left mixed impressions on fans.
