• Actor Choi Daniel Caught Trying to Sell Expensive Gift? Friend Calls Him Out for Listing Sofa on Secondhand Market

Actor Choi Daniel recently found himself in a funny yet unexpected controversy after revealing he considered selling a gift from a friend on a secondhand market.

On February 13, a new episode of the YouTube channel 뜬뜬 (Ttunddun) featured Yoo Jae Suk, Han Sang Jin, Jo Se Ho, and Choi Daniel in a candid conversation.

During the talk, Jo Se Ho brought up how Han Sang Jin is famous for giving generous gifts. Han Sang Jin agreed, saying he once bought a friend a padded jacket just because they liked his. Yoo Jae Suk, surprised, joked, "Do you have that much money?"

However, things took a turn when Choi Daniel suddenly said, "But I’ve never received anything." Han Sang Jin was shocked and quickly corrected him.

"What do you mean? I gave you an expensive sofa!" But what came next surprised everyone. He then revealed, "I found out later that he put it up for sale on a secondhand market!"

Yoo Jae Suk was just as stunned and jokingly scolded him, "That’s not okay. How could you list that for sale? I won’t let this slide!"

Looking flustered, Choi Daniel tried to explain, "I did get a sofa worth over 1 million won as a housewarming gift, but I haven’t actually listed it for sale yet." Han Sang Jin quickly interrupted, "But you did ask for my permission to sell it."

Choi Daniel went on to share his side, "I lived in Yongsan for two years, and my house got too cluttered. The sofa is really comfortable, but it’s huge. I thought, ‘Maybe I should sell it and treat him to a nice meal.’"

Yoo Jae Suk was unconvinced. "Do you really think that makes sense?" Han Sang Jin also chimed in, "I bought that for him with a lot of thought."

Trying to clear up the misunderstanding, Choi Daniel added, "I haven’t sold it yet. I’m actually thinking of giving it to a younger colleague because I don’t have space for it."

Jo Se Ho sided with him, saying that sometimes people just need to reorganize their space. Choi Daniel admitted, "That’s true. I was really grateful and used it well, but my new place is smaller. Right now, it’s out on the balcony, and my dogs use it to rest."

Han Sang Jin, still in disbelief, revealed another shocking detail, "It’s only been two years since I bought that sofa. It was basically brand new. But when I visited his house, I didn’t see it anywhere. Turns out it was on the balcony, and his dogs had chewed it all up!"

The unexpected twist had everyone laughing, turning what could’ve been a tense moment into a hilarious one!
