• NewJeans' Hanni Sets the Record Straight After False Claims of Visa Issues and ‘Illegal Immigrant’ Label

NewJeans' Hanni is finally speaking out after her visa situation caused major drama online!

On February 12th, the parents of the NJZ members shared a strong statement through their social media account, clearing up the confusion about her visa status.

The statement revealed that there has been a flood of rumors and false reports about Hanni’s stay in Korea.

"Yesterday and today, speculative articles about Hanni's domestic stay qualifications have been flooding in, and false information has been spreading, so we wish to correct this," they said. They continued, “Hanni was legally granted a new visa on February 11th through the proper procedures.”

But the drama didn’t stop there. The statement also called out Hanni’s agency, ADOR, for allegedly pressuring her and her parents into signing a visa extension agreement.

"ADOR pressured the parents and the individual by sending emails requesting signatures on a visa extension agreement, warning that refusal could lead to illegal stay," the parents claimed.

They even accused the agency of submitting personal information without consent to the authorities, which they described as an “unreasonable action.”

The biggest shocker? The parents slammed some media outlets for using the term “illegal immigrant” without checking their facts.

"Some media outlets have abused the term 'illegal immigrant' based on unverified facts and spread false rumors, leading to unnecessary complaints,” they stated.

They also mentioned that these articles were based on unnamed sources and inaccurate details about Hanni’s visa.

With about 70 articles popping up in just the last two days, the statement stressed that personal and private information, like the type and expiration date of Hanni’s visa, was carelessly shared without her permission.

"This has caused serious harm to her rights," they added. The parents expressed deep regret over how much misinformation has been spread and pointed out that only ADOR could have provided the correct details.

Hanni’s fans are now rallying behind her, hoping that the situation will settle and that the truth will be fully recognized.

  • G-Dragon’s concert chaos—some fans caught smoking, littering, and rushing the stage despite security warnings

G-Dragon’s highly anticipated solo concert was overshadowed by fan misbehavior, causing frustration among attendees.

On March 29 and 30, G-Dragon finally met fans at the G-Dragon 2025 World Tour [Übermensch] in Korea, Presented by Coupang Play at Goyang Sports Complex. While the event marked his grand return after eight years, some fans’ reckless actions sparked controversy.

Right after the concert, online forums were flooded with complaints, with photos exposing the chaos.

One major issue was a Chinese couple seen smoking e-cigarettes inside the venue. A frustrated fan shared, “They were vaping during the concert. Security told them to stop, but they acted like they didn’t understand. As soon as security left, they did it again. I’m still furious.”

Fans also criticized the excessive littering, as the venue floor was covered in plastic packaging and boxes from official merchandise, making it look like a dumping ground.

Additionally, when G-Dragon moved closer to the audience, some fans rushed forward in a dangerous stampede.

Netizens expressed concern, saying, “If one person rushes, others follow. This is really dangerous.” Another wrote, “If you act like this, don’t call yourself a fan.”

Some pointed fingers at Chinese fans for the disorderly conduct, while others argued that Korean fans also contributed to the chaos.

Despite the issues, the concert was still a meaningful event, with G-Dragon donating ₩300 million (about $225,000) from the proceeds to wildfire relief efforts.

However, problems like poor sound quality and weather-related delays left mixed impressions on fans.
