Actress Park Bo Young revealed that she once seriously considered quitting acting due to a legal dispute with her agency, leaving fans stunned.
On February 9, the YouTube channel Yojeong Jaehyung uploaded a video titled "Am I the fairy, or are you the fairy?… You’re the fairy, Bo Young…ㅠ".
In the interview, Park Bo Young opened up about the struggles she faced before starring in A Werewolf Boy.
She confessed, “I had quite a long break before A Werewolf Boy due to a dispute with my agency. It was a difficult time, but when I finally resumed acting, the movie’s success felt like a gift.”

Park Bo Young also shared how frustrating it was to be unable to work despite wanting to. “It felt like the entire universe was telling me not to do it."

She added, "Every time I tried to start a project, there were boycotts, and I found myself in a situation where I simply couldn’t work,” she said.
She even thought about quitting acting altogether, she said, “I considered going back to the countryside. My dad casually told me to just move back and work at a factory."
She added, "There were places like Hynix nearby. I was scared and exhausted, and after being hurt by so many people, I really thought about leaving acting for good.”
Luckily, Park Bo Young pushed through and is now one of the most beloved actresses in Korea. Fans are relieved that she didn’t give up and continue to support her journey.
