Netflix has a new global sensation! The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call has officially surpassed Squid Game 2 to become the most-watched non-English TV show on the platform.
According to Netflix’s Tudum Top 10 rankings on February 5, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call racked up an impressive 11.9 million views from January 27 to February 2. Just 10 days after its release, the show skyrocketed to No.1 in the Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) category.
Since its premiere on January 24, the medical drama has completely dominated Netflix’s South Korea Top 10, holding onto the No.1 spot for two straight weeks. But that’s not all—it also claimed the No.1 position in 17 countries, including Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Chile, and Peru.
The series even made it into the Top 10 rankings in a whopping 63 countries, including the U.S., France, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, India, Japan, and Egypt, proving its massive worldwide appeal.
K-dramas are continuing to rule Netflix! In the latest Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) rankings, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call took No.1, while Squid Game 2 followed at No.2. The original Squid Game (Season 1) is still holding strong at No.5, and dating reality show Single’s Inferno 4 landed at No.6.
With The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call making waves worldwide, it seems like K-content is once again taking over Netflix’s global charts.
