Actor Kim Woo Bin found himself in a hilarious situation when his close friends Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Yi Kyung both tried to claim him for their team on the February 2nd episode of tvN’s Handsome Guys!

The episode featured the first-ever celebrity search race, where the cast split into two teams, Handsome and Guys.

Their mission? To visit famous stars born in the Year of the Snake (1989), exchange New Year’s greetings, and complete a bingo challenge. But things got tricky when both Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Yi Kyung had the same target—Kim Woo Bin!

Cha Tae Hyun from the Handsome team was the first to call Kim Woo Bin, who shared that he had a shoot scheduled at 2 p.m.

Sensing an opportunity, Cha Tae Hyun hinted that he might stop by, securing an advantage. But things took a turn when Lee Yi Kyung from the Guys team also called Woo Bin, eager to recruit him for their challenge.

Knowing this might happen, Cha Tae Hyun had already coached Kim Woo Bin on what to do. “Later, you might get a call about something work-related. If that happens, just say you’re in Jeju Island,” he advised. Since the two had worked together before on Unexpected Business 2, Cha Tae Hyun had the upper hand!

Sure enough, Lee Yi Kyung called and asked, “Did Tae Hyun hyung contact you?” Sticking to the plan, Kim Woo Bin casually replied, “No, why?” But when Lee Yi Kyung suggested meeting up for a fortune reading, Woo Bin immediately said, “I’m in Jeju Island right now.”

Sensing something was off, Lee Yi Kyung asked, “You weren’t told to lie to me and pretend you’re in Jeju, were you?” At that, Kim Woo Bin couldn’t hold back his laughter!

Lee Yi Kyung jokingly pressed further, “Are you really going to pick a side like this?” Kim Woo Bin, keeping up the act, responded, “Do we really have to go this far? Calling me first thing in the new year—this is disappointing. I think I need to hang up, I’m busy.” With that, he ended the call with a playful smirk, making the whole situation even funnier!

On March 13, a video was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Study King Genius Hong Jin Kyung." In the video, Hong Jin Kyung visited Jennie’s office.

Since Jennie had previously mentioned that Hong Jin Kyung always makes her laugh, she greeted her warmly with a big hug.

During their chat, Hong Jin Kyung shared a personal story, saying, "My daughter Rael went all the way to the U.S. to watch BLACKPINK at Coachella, but she got scammed when buying tickets. So, she couldn’t see BLACKPINK and ended up crying her eyes out." Jennie reacted with surprise and sympathy.
