• BLACKPINK’s Rosé Breaks Another Huge Record as "APT" Hits 1 Billion Views – You Won't Believe How Fast It Happened

BLACKPINK’s Rosé has done it again! Her global hit APT. with Bruno Mars has officially surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, setting a new record.

On January 31, THEBLACKLABEL announced that Rosé’s APT. music video hit the 1 billion mark just 105 days after its release on October 18 last year. This makes her the fastest K-pop solo artist ever to reach this milestone and the fifth-fastest artist worldwide to do so!

Released as a pre-release single for her first full-length album rosie on December 6, APT. became an instant sensation. The duet between Rosé and Bruno Mars took over the charts in Korea and internationally, proving her global power.

The MV broke records from the start, hitting 100 million views in just five days, 300 million views in 22 days, and 500 million views in 47 days. These numbers made Rosé the fastest K-pop soloist in 11 years to achieve such milestones. The video also dominated YouTube’s trending lists in Korea, the U.S., and worldwide.

Even months after its release, APT. is still going strong. The song recently climbed back up the Billboard Hot 100—which was filled with holiday songs—reaching a new peak at No. 2 on January 28 (local time). It also held onto the No. 2 spot for five consecutive weeks on the UK Official Singles Chart, one of the biggest global charts alongside Billboard.

Rosé’s album rosie, which features APT., also made history. She personally wrote and composed all its tracks, and the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting album by a K-pop female artist ever!

With record-breaking achievements one after another, fans are calling Rosé unstoppable.

  • BB GIRLS Minyoung Opens Up About Yoojung’s Shocking Departure: "It Felt Like an Empty Spot" – Members Talk About the Pressure of Being in a 5th Gen Group

BBGIRLS’s Minyoung shared her honest thoughts on Yoojung’s departure and how it impacted the group.

On January 31, BBGIRLS appeared on The Seasons - Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow, where they performed their hit songs “We Ride” and “Rollin’,” receiving a warm reception from the audience.

During the show, MC Lee Young Ji asked, “I’ve heard that after ‘Rollin,’ when you made your comeback as a 3-member group, you had a lot of concerns. What was on your mind?” Minyoung responded thoughtfully, saying, “When we reformed as a 3-member group, I was worried that the empty spot might be felt, and that became a burden.”

Minyoung tried to ease the tension with a joke, saying, “We came out a year ago as ‘BBGIRLS,’ and if we think about it, I guess we are a 5th-generation group now.”

Lee Young Ji playfully added, “Wait a second, when you say 5th-generation idols, that includes BabyMonster, NewJeans, RIIZE, and BBGIRLS.” Eunji and Yuna quickly apologized, making everyone laugh.

Minyoung also joked, saying, “We’re a 5th-generation group, but we have no friends. How do we make friends?” She continued, “We can buy meals and drinks for our 5th-generation friends. We also have cars, so we can give rides. Let’s become close. Let’s do challenges for our new song together!”

BBGIRLS made a big announcement last April, revealing that they were starting a new chapter under their own agency, BBGIRLS Company, after leaving Warner Music Korea. They also confirmed that Yoojung had left the group, and Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna would continue as a three-member group.

The members of BBGIRLS are now facing the pressure of carrying on as a smaller group, but they remain excited and ready for their future together.
