• BLACKPINK’s Jennie Shocks Fans: "No Vacation This Year, IV Drips Are My Rest" - Is She Really Okay?

Jennie of BLACKPINK might be the definition of a “workaholic,” and in her latest appearance on Hyeri's Club, she opened up about just how packed her schedule is — so much so that she won’t be taking any time off this year!

On January 31, the Hyeri's Club YouTube channel released a revealing episode titled “Jennie's Secrets Revealed... Opening Up at Hyeri's Club,” where Jennie spilled the beans on everything from food preferences to her non-stop work life.

During the episode, Hyeri curiously asked, "Jennie does everything well, but what can't she do?" Jennie confessed that cooking isn’t her strong suit and shared that her favorite food is doenjang jjigae.

She even mentioned how traveling abroad can be a challenge since she can't handle spicy food or coriander, unlike the rest of the members.

Jennie then made a surprising admission about food: “I don’t have a big hobby related to food, and people around me feel bad about it,” she said. She even joked, "I’m the type of person who can solve a meal with a pill," leaving Hyeri shocked. Jennie quickly apologized for her quirky statement, laughing it off.

The conversation then took a more serious turn as they discussed Jennie’s schedule and vacations. Hyeri, who recently enjoyed a getaway to Amanpulo, asked Jennie about her dream vacation spot. Jennie enthusiastically recommended Aman Giri, saying, "It’s a worthwhile trip."

However, when Hyeri asked about Jennie’s upcoming vacation plans, Jennie’s answer left fans concerned. “I don’t think I’ll get a vacation this year," Jennie admitted, revealing just how busy she is with her packed work schedule.

She added, "I’m grateful that when I do work, I feel like I’m resting, even if just for a short time."

When Hyeri questioned her work-life balance, Jennie said, "Honestly, I don’t have any days without a schedule right now." She explained that she’s not only managing her BLACKPINK duties but also running her own company and preparing for her solo album. "I haven’t had the luxury of telling anyone how I spend my rest," Jennie confessed. Her idea of rest? Getting IV drips at the dermatologist!

Hyeri seemed concerned, pointing out that when filming a drama, she takes 2-3 weeks off. Jennie responded, "That’s my goal. Starting next year, I’ll do that." Fans are definitely hoping that Jennie gets the well-deserved break she’s aiming for — but for now, it seems like work is taking priority!

  • BB GIRLS Minyoung Opens Up About Yoojung’s Shocking Departure: "It Felt Like an Empty Spot" – Members Talk About the Pressure of Being in a 5th Gen Group

BBGIRLS’s Minyoung shared her honest thoughts on Yoojung’s departure and how it impacted the group.

On January 31, BBGIRLS appeared on The Seasons - Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow, where they performed their hit songs “We Ride” and “Rollin’,” receiving a warm reception from the audience.

During the show, MC Lee Young Ji asked, “I’ve heard that after ‘Rollin,’ when you made your comeback as a 3-member group, you had a lot of concerns. What was on your mind?” Minyoung responded thoughtfully, saying, “When we reformed as a 3-member group, I was worried that the empty spot might be felt, and that became a burden.”

Minyoung tried to ease the tension with a joke, saying, “We came out a year ago as ‘BBGIRLS,’ and if we think about it, I guess we are a 5th-generation group now.”

Lee Young Ji playfully added, “Wait a second, when you say 5th-generation idols, that includes BabyMonster, NewJeans, RIIZE, and BBGIRLS.” Eunji and Yuna quickly apologized, making everyone laugh.

Minyoung also joked, saying, “We’re a 5th-generation group, but we have no friends. How do we make friends?” She continued, “We can buy meals and drinks for our 5th-generation friends. We also have cars, so we can give rides. Let’s become close. Let’s do challenges for our new song together!”

BBGIRLS made a big announcement last April, revealing that they were starting a new chapter under their own agency, BBGIRLS Company, after leaving Warner Music Korea. They also confirmed that Yoojung had left the group, and Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna would continue as a three-member group.

The members of BBGIRLS are now facing the pressure of carrying on as a smaller group, but they remain excited and ready for their future together.
