• Kang Dong Won Wears a Priest's Robe Again and Fans Can't Stop Swooning —Find Out Why in "Dark Nuns"

"If I wear a priest’s robe, women seem to love it. Haha." (Kang Dong Won)

Kang Dong Won is back in a priest’s robe, and fans are losing their minds! If you were among those captivated by his iconic look in The Priests a decade ago, get ready for a nostalgic yet thrilling surprise. Kang Dong Won makes a special appearance in the new movie The Black Nuns, and yes, he’s wearing the robe again—and looking flawless as ever.

Back in the day, even Kang Dong Won was caught off guard by the unexpected reaction to his priestly look. “I didn’t realize women had a fantasy about priests’ robes,” he once admitted, amused by the attention. Since then, other actors have tried to pull off the same look, but let’s be real—Kang Dong Won will always be the OG when it comes to rocking the priest aesthetic.

His cameo in Dark Nuns is already creating a buzz. During the press screening, director Kwon Hyuk Jae shared his excitement, saying, “Fans of The Priests are going to love this. Seeing Kang Dong Won in that robe again, it felt like no time had passed. His dedication and preparation were truly inspiring.”

Co-star Jeon Yeo Bin couldn’t hide her admiration either. “When I saw him in the priest’s robe, it felt like flowers were blooming around him,” she gushed. “Was there a spotlight following him? I couldn’t believe how perfect he looked. Watching him on set was magical, and it made filming so much more enjoyable.”

Kang Dong Won’s appearance wasn’t just a coincidence. The production team at Zip Cinema, the company behind Dark Nuns, specifically envisioned him in the role. As a spin-off of The Priests, they wanted to bring back Choi Joon Ho (Kang Dong Won’s character) to tie the two stories together.

Executive producer Oh Hyo Jin explained, “While working on the script, we imagined an ending where Choi Joon Ho and Michaela (played by Jeon Yeo Bin) walk back into the city together. When we shared this idea with Kang Dong Won, he kindly agreed to take part. We’re so grateful for his support.”

Dark Nuns tells a gripping story about individuals performing a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. The intense performances and chilling plot promise to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Don’t miss Kang Dong Won’s legendary comeback in Dark Nuns, which hit theaters on January 24. Fans are already calling it the ultimate throwback moment.

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
