According to Pop Core, which tracks real-time music charts and social media updates, Jungkook has reached an impressive 4.6 million mentions on YouTube, securing his spot as one of the most mentioned celebrities on the platform. He’s now in third place, just behind the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo with 7.7 million mentions and soccer icon Lionel Messi with 6.9 million mentions.

But that’s not all—Jungkook also claimed the top position for the most mentioned solo artist on YouTube, proving that his global influence is as strong as ever, even while he’s serving in the military.

Jungkook’s social media reign doesn’t stop there! For five consecutive years, he’s been the most searched K-pop idol worldwide on YouTube. In 2024, he topped the charts as the most searched male idol on YouTube in South Korea, the U.S., and Japan.

The Golden Maknae’s popularity also shines across other platforms. He led the 2024 K-pop idol search rankings on Pinterest, which boasts over 500 million users. On TikTok, Jungkook’s personal hashtag #jungkook made history by becoming the first-ever solo artist to hit 300 billion views, ranking number one for the most views.

Shim Hyung Tak has introduced his newborn son, and people can’t stop talking about how much he resembles BTS’s Jungkook!

On the February 26 episode of Channel A’s Men’s Life These Days: Groom Class, the show gave viewers an update on Shim Hyung Tak and his wife Saya after they welcomed their baby boy.

During the show, Lee Seung Chul couldn’t help but notice how exhausted Shim looked from parenting duties.

Shim explained, “I was up with the baby until 6:30 AM today. I take care of him from 11 PM to 7 AM while my wife sleeps. Then, when she wakes up, I sleep, and we take turns raising him together.”

Shim also opened up about his wife’s tough labor experience. He shared, “She was in labor for 12 hours. A nurse even told me, ‘The mother was incredible. She endured the pain without even groaning.’” He expressed how grateful he was to his wife for her strength.

As the couple moved into a postpartum care center, they finally revealed their baby’s face for the first time. The cast members were in awe, exclaiming, “He’s so beautiful!”

Moon Se Yoon couldn’t hold back his reaction and joked, “He looks exactly like his mom and dad. Did he get a nose job before he was born?”

Shim Jin Hwa then made a surprising comment, saying, “I think he looks more like BTS’s Jungkook than his dad.” To this, Shim Hyung Tak laughed and replied, “I hope so.” Moon Se Yoon added, “He’s definitely going to be more handsome than you.”
