• BTS’s Jin Rules Germany in 2024, Top of the 'Best Hallyu Content' List with 'I’ll Be There' & 'Super Tuna' – Here’s Why He’s the K-Pop King of 2024

BTS's Jin is proving once again why he's one of the biggest stars in the world, this time dominating Germany’s K-pop scene!

In the latest issue of Hallyu Now, a magazine by the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), Jin claimed the number one spot on the "Top 5 Hallyu Contents of 2024 in Germany" list.

The ranking was determined by a survey conducted from October 15 to 31, 2024, with feedback from KOFICE’s overseas correspondents.

Jin’s pre-release track “I’ll Be There” from his solo album Happy took the top spot, showing just how much his fans love his music.

Not only did Jin perform the song, but he also wrote and composed it, highlighting his impressive musical talent.

And that’s not all—his viral self-composed track "Super Tuna" landed at number 5, proving Jin’s global superstar status with two songs in the top 5.

This achievement follows the massive success of his solo album Happy, which took the world by storm when it released on November 15.

The album soared to third place on Japan’s Oricon chart for first-week sales and became the top K-pop solo album on the Billboard Japan charts in 2024.

Jin also ranked 45th in the all-time K-pop total sales in Japan, including CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and digital music.

Jin’s title track “Running Wild” is also breaking records, making waves on TikTok. After just 10 days, the track reached over 1.7 million posts, placing it second among all-time K-pop male solo songs on TikTok, just behind Shawn’s “Way Back Home.”

And the success keeps coming! Recently, Running Wild was included in Amazon Music’s “2025 Playlist,” with Jin being the only K-pop male artist on the list.

This cements his position as one of the most powerful and popular global music icons today. Whether in Korea, the U.S., Japan, Europe, or beyond, Jin’s influence continues to grow, solidifying him as one of the hottest superstars in the world!
