• Kim Jaejoong’s Sisters Get Emotional: "He Was Struggling So Much but Never Told Us"

Kim Jaejoong’s close bond with his sisters brought heartfelt moments to KBS 2TV’s New Release, Pyeonstorang on January 24, as his older sisters opened up about their pain and love for their youngest sibling.

Jaejoong, who grew up with eight older sisters, returned to his family home in the episode, where his warm and lively family dynamic was on full display. While spending time with his mother and eldest sister, his fourth and fifth sisters surprised him with their arrival, bursting with energy and calling out his name.

The two sisters, known for their bubbly personalities, immediately showered Jaejoong with hugs and affection. They even fought over him playfully, calling him “Son!”—a nickname they’ve used since they helped raise him like second mothers during his childhood. Their fun banter had the Pyeonstorang cast laughing and curious about their strong connection.

During a heartfelt family meal, the sisters and Jaejoong reminisced about his difficult trainee days. Jaejoong expressed deep gratitude, saying, “I’m so thankful to my first, fourth, and fifth sisters. Without your support back then, I wouldn’t have been able to debut.”

However, the conversation turned emotional as Jaejoong’s fourth sister opened up about her lingering sadness. “I’m still upset,” she admitted. “I helped pay your dorm fees a few times, but I didn’t know how hard things were for you. You didn’t tell me you were struggling so much.”

Jaejoong responded, “I didn’t want to be a burden to my sisters…” But his fourth sister’s voice trembled with emotion as she replied, “That’s what hurts me the most—that you went through all that without telling us.”

His fifth sister also tearfully confessed, “You had eight sisters, but you never called us. Knowing you faced so much on your own broke my heart.”

The heartfelt moment left Jaejoong and his sisters in tears, showing the deep love and unbreakable bond between them. Fans watching the show were moved by their story and the strength of their family’s love for one another.

  • BTS' Jin visits Andong to help wildfire victims, serves meals at Baek Jong Won’s relief center

BTS member Jin has touched hearts once again with his kind gesture to support those affected by wildfires.

On April 3, Jin visited Gilan Middle School in Gilan-myeon, Andong, to serve meals to disaster victims and firefighters. His actions brought much-needed comfort to the people in the area.

Gilan Middle School is where celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, a close friend of Jin, has been running a free meal service through his company, The Born Korea.

Since March 28, The Born Korea has been providing meals for the wildfire victims, preparing 300 to 700 servings each time to ensure that the affected people and firefighters receive warm food.

Jin quietly made his way to Andong, a region that suffered extensive damage from the wildfire, to lend a helping hand.

Big Hit Music, Jin’s agency, shared, “Jin wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those affected by the wildfires, which is why he decided to participate in this volunteer activity.”

This heartwarming gesture follows BTS's large donations for wildfire recovery efforts. Jungkook donated a whopping 1 billion KRW, while V gave 200 million KRW, and RM, J-Hope, and Suga each contributed 100 million KRW to aid in the recovery.
