Actress Song Hye Kyo shared a funny and relatable story about what she would do if a fan ever asked her for a photo at a bathhouse.

On January 22, Song Hye Kyo appeared on the podcast Song Eun I & Kim Sook's Secret Guarantee, where she opened up about her past experiences and some funny moments.

During the episode, Song Hye Kyo shared memories from her last meeting with comedian Song Eun I, saying, “We last met when I was in my early 20s”.

Kim Sook then expressed her gratitude, saying, “That’s quite a long time ago. Hye Kyo showed great loyalty by coming out to meet us”.

Song Hye Kyo went on to recall how Song Eun I taught her how to drink, saying, “When I turned 20 after graduation, she said, ‘Try a glass of beer,’ and that was the last time I drank with her”.

The conversation took a fun turn when a listener asked if Song Hye Kyo, who has been a top star since the 90s, ever goes to public bathhouses.

She explained, “I don’t go much in Seoul. But I do go when I’m shooting in the provinces,” adding, “I get embarrassed being completely undressed, so I only cover my face with a towel.”

Kim Sook joked about how Song Hye Kyo might handle fans asking for a photo at a bathhouse, and the actress responded with humor, saying, “I’ll just stick my face out from the tub and take the photo”, causing laughter from the hosts.

Kim Myung Yeop, the producer of MBC’s popular variety show Radio Star, has addressed the buzz surrounding actress Goo Hye Sun wearing a hat during a recent broadcast. He firmly stated, "There was absolutely no issue at the scene."

On January 22, Kim PD attended a press conference celebrating the 900th episode of Radio Star at the MBC headquarters in Sangam-dong, Seoul. The event also featured cast members Kim Gook Jin, Kim Gura, Yoo Se Yoon, and Jang Do Yeon.

During the press event, Kim PD spoke about the controversy sparked by Goo Hye Sun’s appearance on the 897th episode, which aired on January 15.

He explained, “People are talking about an attitude problem, but there was nothing wrong at all. If there had been an issue, we would have edited it out.”

Kim PD elaborated, “As a producer, it’s my job to make sure guests look fine on screen. If someone wears a hat, I ask if they’re comfortable with it. It’s no different from when singer Park Joon Hyung wears sunglasses, where we only check for things like light reflections.”

He also emphasized Goo Hye Sun’s professionalism, saying, “She arrived early, did her script reading without any issues, and had a great attitude during filming. It’s really disappointing to hear people are making this a controversy.”

The fuss began when Goo Hye Sun appeared wearing a hat and explained during the show, “The boiler in my house broke, so I couldn’t wash my hair. The PD asked if I could take off the hat, but I couldn’t due to the situation.”

Despite her explanation, netizens criticized her through comments on the video uploaded to MBC’s YouTube channel.

Some wrote, “If you weren’t ready at home, you should’ve gone to a salon,” while others called it “disrespectful to the recording environment.”
