On the 21st, during episode 18 of BTS’s self-produced variety show Run, Seok Jin, Jin teamed up with model and broadcaster Hong Jin Kyung to prepare a special New Year’s lunchbox. But things took a hilarious turn when Jin revealed a funny situation involving Hong Jin Kyung’s daughter, who happens to be a huge fan of Jin.

In the episode, Jin mentioned that he had agreed to a secret shoot, and joked about being ready to “cut ties” with Hong Jin Kyung’s daughter because of her admiration for him. Of course, Jin quickly corrected himself, making the entire crew burst into laughter from the very start!

The pair had a blast cooking traditional Korean dishes like japchae, galbi, and kimchi, all while introducing them to international ARMYs. Jin, who revealed that he cooks 80% of his meals, took charge of the kitchen, showing off his impressive culinary skills. When Hong Jin Kyung playfully asked, “Is it fun to be born this good-looking?” Jin responded with his signature humor, saying, “Yes, it’s fun!”

The laughs continued in a silly game where they mimed animals like a magpie, hamster, and gorilla, leaving everyone in stitches. But what really melted hearts was when Jin decided to give his game winnings to Hong Jin Kyung’s daughter, along with a sweet letter. It was such a thoughtful and touching moment!

Once the lunchboxes were ready, they were delivered to Jin’s close friends, chef Baek Jong Won and actor Lee Yi Kyung, who posted photos and videos to show their appreciation for Jin’s hard work.
