• IU Apologizes to IVE with a Deep 90-Degree Bow, Calls It 'The Worst Thing I Did Last Year' – Here's Why!

On January 20th, IU made an emotional apology to IVE, leaving fans surprised by her heartfelt gesture.

During a new video posted on IU's YouTube channel IU's Palette, the singer shared a touching behind-the-scenes story involving her junior group, IVE.

Though they both use the same shop, it was the first time IU and IVE had greeted each other. IU began by saying, "We have a behind-the-scenes story", before revealing that she had planned to invite IVE members to Palette much earlier but things didn't go as planned.

With a 90-degree bow, IU apologized deeply to the IVE members, saying, "I’m really sorry." The IVE members were caught off guard, quickly standing up and reassuring IU, saying, "No, it’s okay!" But IU insisted, "I’m really sorry."

It turns out the reason for the delay was IU's health issues. She explained, "While recording Palette, something happened to me for the first time."

She added, "On the day of the recording, I woke up feeling something was wrong. I had a high fever, so I went straight to the hospital and had to cancel the recording. I felt really bad about it and asked our shop staff to tell you I’m so sorry."

IU went on to explain that she even bumped into Liz in the elevator and said, "I took off my hat and mask and said, 'This is IU, and I’m really sorry. Please tell the IVE members I’m so sorry again.'" She added, "That’s still the thing I regret the most in 2024."

However, IVE members quickly reassured her, with Jang Wonyoung saying, "We just kept saying, 'We hope you get better soon.'" IU was touched by their kindness and shared, "When I heard that you said that, my heart ached more."

To show her gratitude, IU continued, "I know you rearranged my song, prepared a color switch, and took time out of your busy schedule for Palette. I know how busy you all are."

She ended the conversation warmly, saying, "Today, I will do my best to make you all shine, and thank you again for being on Palette".

  • GaSeYeon claims they were kicked out of Kim Soo Hyun’s press conference—what are they threatening to reveal next?

YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (GaSeYeon) is making waves again, claiming they were kicked out of Kim Soo Hyun’s press conference.

On March 31, Kim Se Ui, a member of GaSeYeon, had announced that they would be doing a live broadcast on the day of Kim Soo Hyun’s press conference.

However, once the event began, GaSeYeon shocked viewers by claiming, "We were kicked out (of the press conference)." They even threatened to release more private videos of Kim Soo Hyun in another live broadcast later that evening.

During the 45-minute press conference, Kim Soo Hyun became emotional as he denied the allegations against him, saying he was frustrated by the situation.

He once again stated that he dated the late Kim Sae Ron for about a year but accused GaSeYeon and Kim Sae Ron’s family of fabricating evidence to frame him as a pedophile, a groomer of minors, and even a murderer.

His legal team confirmed that they had already filed civil and criminal lawsuits against Kim Sae Ron’s family, her self-proclaimed aunt, and GaSeYeon’s Kim Se Ui, demanding 12 billion KRW (around 90 million USD) in compensation for damages.

Despite the legal action, GaSeYeon remained defiant, saying they would continue exposing private videos of Kim Soo Hyun.

Now, many are asking—who truly benefits from all this drama, and when will it finally end? The public is growing tired of the never-ending controversy.
