• Ailee Reveals She’s Happier Than Ever, Living with Choi Si Hoon Before Their April Wedding, And Yes, She’s Gained Weight, But Loves It!

Ailee is glowing with happiness as she prepares to marry her fiancé, Choi Si Hoon, in April, and she’s not bothered by the extra pounds she’s gained along the way!

On January 18, Ailee appeared on Hangout with Yoo and shared heartwarming details about her proposal.

She admitted that at first, she didn’t want a traditional proposal because it felt too strange, but her boyfriend, Choi Si Hoon, had other plans.

He secretly prepared everything, even filming a video letter with special messages from her family and friends in the U.S.

Ailee teared up as she showed off her beautiful diamond ring. “It was exactly my style. I cried a lot,” she revealed.

Choi Si Hoon’s sweet words in the video letter made Ailee emotional. “I’m happy to have the chance to do a small event. Our second chapter in life is about to begin. I will protect you forever, always be by your side, and I’ll scold anyone who bothers you,” he said. His heartfelt message was a touching moment for both Ailee and the viewers.

Yoo Jae Suk, the host, gifted the couple with matching mugs, slippers, and pajamas, and even arranged a live call with Choi Si Hoon.

He shared how much he admired Ailee, saying, “My wife is an amazing person. There were difficult times, but I wanted to marry her to protect such a wonderful woman.”

Choi Si Hoon’s deep affection for Ailee was clear as he expressed his desire to make her happy and healthy for the long run.

Ailee and Choi Si Hoon, who met on Netflix’s Single’s Inferno and dated for a year, are set to marry on April 20. Choi Si Hoon, who became popular on the show, is currently focusing on F&B and MCN businesses.

Ailee proudly shared that they’re already living together, and Yoo Jae Suk playfully told Choi Si Hoon to save him a seat at the wedding.

In the same episode, Ailee formed a project group with Im Ji U, Park Jin Ju, and NMIXX’s Haewon, where they remade Toy’s classic hit “Still Beautiful” from 1999.

During the recording, Ailee joked about how she tends to gain weight after breakups, even rewriting the lyrics to say, “I’ve gained some weight.” Her humor made everyone laugh as she embraced her current, happiest self despite the changes in her body.

Ailee may be dealing with some weight gain, but it’s clear that she’s never been happier. With her upcoming wedding and her amazing relationship with Choi Si Hoon, Ailee is truly living her best life!
