• Dex Asks IVE’s Jang Wonyoung About Age Gaps in Dating—Her Calm Reaction Surprises Him

Dex recently had a fun and lighthearted chat with IVE's Jang Wonyoung, who is nine years younger than him, during an episode of Dex's Fridge Interview.

On January 16, the YouTube channel 117 uploaded the episode titled "Everything About Wonyoung From the Stars," featuring Jang Wonyoung as the special guest. The two shared laughs and talked openly in a cheerful atmosphere.

As soon as Jang Wonyoung entered the studio, Dex couldn’t hide his excitement, saying, "It felt like a strawberry was walking toward me."

He continued with sweet compliments, adding, "Even though it's winter, the energy Wonyoung brings feels like spring."

Dex went on to reveal, "Someone I know told me, ‘Jang Wonyoung is different,’ and now I understand. You’re truly extraordinary.”

The two guests, born in different generations (Dex in 1995 and Jang Wonyoung in 2002), joked about their age gap. When Dex mentioned the generational differences, Wonyoung reassured him, saying, “I actually like making friends with older people, like older sisters or people older than me.”

Taking a bold turn, Dex jokingly asked, “What’s the age limit for dating up?” Wonyoung, staying composed, laughed and said, “That’s such a funny question.” Dex, clearly amused, admitted, “I was hoping you’d be flustered, but you’re not fazed at all!”

Dex also revealed that he put extra effort into his appearance for the episode. “I tried to look as young as possible today, so I wore glasses,” he confessed.

Wonyoung playfully complimented him, saying, “They suit you well.” Blushing, Dex replied with a big smile, “Really?”

Meanwhile, IVE is gearing up for their official comeback. On January 13, they pre-released "Rebel Heart," the title track from their third EP, IVE EMPATHY. Fans can look forward to the full album release on February 3!
