• BTS’s Jin Takes Over Idolpick with Record Votes, Secures Billboard Ad and Continues His Reign as a Global Superstar

BTS's Jin has once again proven his unmatched popularity by topping Idolpick's weekly poll for the first week of January (January 6–12).

With a staggering 67,830 votes, Jin not only claimed the number one spot among individual male idols but also outshined all categories as the overall highest vote-getter.

Idolpick has a special reward system where the top five idols or teams with the most picks for two consecutive weeks are celebrated with billboard ads. Jin’s incredible total of 111,842 picks between December 23, 2024, and January 5, 2025, secured him a spot in the 144th round of billboard support ads.

Fans can catch these ads at the large outdoor billboard opposite Lotte Avenue in Jung-gu, Seoul, from January 16 to January 18.

Jin’s popularity doesn’t stop there. He was recently honored as the "Male Solo Singer" in the Vietnam Personality category at the 2025 Korea First Brand Awards by the Korea Consumer Forum, showcasing his wide-reaching influence and the love he receives globally.

Following the release of his first solo album, Happy, on November 15, 2024, Jin has been unstoppable. His track Running Wild was featured in Amazon Music's 2025 Playlist of 100 songs, making him the only K-pop male artist on the list. This recognition cements Jin's position as a world-class superstar.

Adding to his list of achievements, Jin participated in the theme song for tvN’s weekend drama Ask the Stars, which premiered on January 4. Fans worldwide are thrilled to hear his voice in the drama, further amplifying his artistic presence.

With his continuous success in music, awards, and global recognition, Jin is proving why he remains one of the most beloved artists in the world.
