    BTS's V has made K-Pop history by dominating the global Tidal Top Video chart for an incredible five weeks straight with his solo track "Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)"—setting a new record that showcases his global popularity!

    Since its release on November 29 last year, the music video for "Winter Ahead" has continued to wow fans worldwide. From the teaser, fans were hooked, mesmerized by V's emotional acting as a sculptor, paired with stunning visuals.

    The video has not only topped the Tidal Top Video charts in several countries, including the U.S. and the U.K., but also kept its spot at No. 1 for five weeks in a row—marking a historic K-Pop first!

    Even though the video has been out for almost two months, it continues to reign at the top of the charts. Along with "Winter Ahead," V’s other solo tracks are dominating the upper ranks on Tidal Top Video charts across the globe.

    On December 31, V made K-Pop history by having his solo tracks take the top 11 spots on the U.S. Tidal Top Video chart, setting a new record for any K-Pop artist.

    On January 4, he achieved another milestone when his songs claimed the first through twelfth positions on the U.K.'s Tidal Top Video chart. During the third week of January, V's tracks completely ruled the charts, occupying the top spots in several countries.

    On January 13, "Winter Ahead" topped the chart in Mexico, with V’s songs filling positions 1–8 and 11–13. In Brazil, his solo tracks swept the top 10 spots!

    By January 14, in Mexico, V’s songs held the top 11 spots, while in Brazil, they occupied the first through ninth positions. His tracks also soared in Germany, Spain, Hong Kong, and many other countries, continuing to break records and cementing his place as a global superstar.

    On January 15, V’s dominance continued in Mexico, the Czech Republic, Chile, Spain, Brazil, and Malaysia, with his solo tracks filling the top spots across these countries. The overwhelming global support V’s music continues to receive shows the power of his global fanbase.

    But that’s not all—V also made history on the U.S. Tidal Top Video chart, where his song "White Christmas" debuted at No. 1, becoming the first-ever K-Pop artist to top the chart on debut. This time around, his songs ranked 2nd–7th, 10th–11th, and 13th, showing his unmatched presence.

    ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

    On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

    She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

    ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

    She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

    ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

    Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
